1946 Chevy 2-Ton Farm Truck from Texas panhandle. This truck was purchased new by a farmer from Friona, Texas in early 1947 from a dealer in Decatur, IN. It was driven back to Texas panhandle where it remained for most of its life. The truck was always kept in a dry barn except during harvest time. The paint is original, has a 4-speed transmission "compound" or "granny" 1st gear & a two speed rear axle. Truck still runs well and has about 34,000 original miles. Seat has been recovered. It needs front tires and the one of the windows needs attention (comes off the track). This is a great truck for a collection, a storeo, or a dealership display. Selling as is in Jefferson Texas.
