1951 Chevy Styleline 2 door
I had big plans for this one, but life gets in the way. It has great patina. Very solid car. The floors and trunk floor are rusted because of leaky seals letting the carpet get soaked over the years, but the rest of the car is very solid. Always in Texas. Check out the Capital Chevrolet trunk emblem and 1963 UT sticker.Last registered in '75.
The body has a few dents, as you'd expect. The engine is complete but locked up. It's the 216ci. The trans still shifts into each gear. Brakes are not frozen, the car rolls easily. It's all there.
I have the original interior panels and seats (headliner and carpet are gone.)
I own a restoration and hot rod shop, and would be happy to discuss building the car for someone. I was going to weld in a complete floor, swap in an LS3, do the wiring and interior, and leave as much of the exterior alone as possible.
I do have a clear blue Texas title in my name, but it's titled as a 1950 due to a clerical mistake long ago (long before I owned it).
Cash or cashier's check only. If paid in cashier's check, vehicle will not be released to buyer until check clears. Buyer is responsible for pick up and shipping. Must arrange shipping within 2 weeks of auction close. Winning bidder will pay $500.00 deposit via PayPal upon auction close.
