1976 Chevy Vega Estate Wagon. Runs Great. 4 cylinder engine, 2 barrel Holley carburetor & automatic transmission. Non power steering & brakes. Everything works (lights, radio, cig. lighter) except fuel gauge. I purchased this Vega in March with intentions of dropping in a V8, but it was too nice a vehicle to convert. The previous owner had the transmission and am/fm 8 track rebuilt and also had the gas tank professionally relined. I installed the following: new carpet; new aluminum radiator & hoses; new front & rear shocks; new rear coil springs; new brake master cylinder, front brake pads, rear brake shoes & springs, turned front rotors, & replaced the right rear wheel cylinder; new battery; new muffler & tailpipe; complete tune up; new window felts; and under coated the Vega with POR 15. Original Chevy orange paint, still shines well, as does the wood grain. There is is rip in the driver's seat back that has been covered with tan duct tape. The Vega is a true survivor with its original panels and floor board. I would not be afraid to drive this Vega cross country. Vehicle for sale locally, auction can be ended at anytime.
