Description

1968 Chevrolet Nova
Selling my 1968 Chevrolet Nova. Car is a nice, clean driver condition car. Was recently painted Viper Red. Car has new steel wheels by Wheel Vintiques and new Coker Redline Tires. I only used the car for the local weekend car shows. Interior of the car is like new. No cracks on the dash or rips in the seats. Everything in the car works as it should including wipers, lights, turn signals, etc. Car is power drum brakes all around with new shoes and wheel cylinders. Car is not a hot rod or a race car. It's just a nice cruiser that gets a lot of attention and thumbs up on the road. Engine is a Vortec style Chevy 350 with an Edelbrock aluminum intake and a Holley Carb. Car does have HEI ignition. All wiring is fresh and done right. Transmission is a firm shifting TH350. Rear end is the factory 8.2 10 bolt with 3.08 gears. Great for cruising on the highway.
I had the car painted because the paint before was not done right. It had a lot of runs and orange peel. My friendwho painted the car for me forgot to paint inside the door jams. They are obviously red but he prepped them for paint and then failed to paint them. Unfortunately he was involved in an accident and was not able to go back and touch them up. Also, there is a bit of overspray in the engine bay. I tried cleaning it but I gave up. It's not bad and can be cleaned up with a little time and touch up paint.
Conditions of body - The car is not a high dollar show car so it was not block sanded to make the panels 100% laser straight. While the paint is very nice and glossy and shows very well, the panels are a bit wavy. You can't see it unless you stand way back and squint your eyes and you have to be very picky to notice it. Metal work? The rear wheel arches do have some bondo in them but that's the only area I found bondo in. This is a common rust issue on these Nova's. Remember the car is 48 years old. Over all conditions I would say is an 8 out of 10 due to the interior and paint of the car being so nice.
I want to make sure to answer any and all questions for bidders so please feel free to call me at (956)655-2835 if you have any questions about the car. The car is priced to sell. Someone will get an excellent deal on this Nova.
Car is sold as is where is - There is NO WARRANTY either expressed or implied. Buyer is responsible for picking up the vehicle.
