I'm selling a 1966 Chevy C10. I've had this truck for a few years now and hate to sell it but with a new baby and multiple projects, somethings gotta go.
The good:
- GM Crate motor
- Double hump heads
- Hot Cams camshaft
- Edelbrock Victor Jr high-rise intake
- Holley double pumper carb
- New plugs, wires, cap and button
- New fuel filter
- New fuel pump
- New sending unit - Gas gauge actually works!
- Headlights/tail lights work
- 3 speed manual transmission - Just rebuilt by DreamWorks garage in Monroe
- Rare step-side with spare tire
- Seat is in great shape
- Truck is 99% complete, rear bumper is the only thing missing
- Brakes work and feel great
- Clean title with reported mileage @ 100k - RARE!
The Bad:
- Typical rust, but not terrible - mainly just rockers and fender bottoms
- Clutch is new, but is slipping some due to previous input shaft leak (fixed when tranny was rebuilt)
- Carb could use minor adjustment to run 100%. It runs and drives fine, just needs fine tuning to be perfect.
Overall the truck is a lot of fun. Drive it around town as is and slowly fix it up (or not)... or restore it to its full potential! Truck has an awesome patina as well.. my ultimate plan was to do the rust repair, prime those areas, lightly sand the whole truck and clear coat over it. The tires hold air fine and have lots of meat left, but do have some dry rotfrom sitting most of the time. Its fine for driving around town but I wouldn't recommend driving it at highway/interstate speeds for an extended period of time.
Buyer responsible for shipping, I can deliver the truck for a fee if you live within a few hours of zip code 30052.
$1000 non refundable deposit due within 24 hours of auction ending.
It is very rare to find a 66 with a title and documented miles.
Truck is also for sale locally, I reserve the right to cancel this auction at any time.
