BODY
This truck was 99% rust free before restoration. A huge plus, vehicles come out so much better with no rust prior to restoration. Painted base/clear hugger orange, paint is beautiful, truck is straight. No globs of bondo to come through in a couple years. Did not use many original chrome or other soft parts, everything bought new from LMC truck with the exception of the Classic gauges. The bed/inner fenders/wheel wells/under hood/rockers are all Linexed for heat and sound protection. All new glass and seals. Custom seat and door panels. New shoulder belts with center lap belt. There are a few minor chips in paint and scratch on top of the cab. Touch up paint will be sent with truck.
This truck is a blast to drive, very dependable build with power to boot. I’ve driven this truck to several shows and it cruises well on the highway. Although it was built to simulate a new truck, it’s still 44 years old, but much better than it came off the GM line. Love the hot rod sound. Exhaust pipes were routed out the back to reduce drone so, it’s not annoying on the highway. Finding a clean K20 is very hard these days, original cost of truck and built to this spec would cost anyone paying a shop double my asking price.
I can help with arranging shipping or work with your shipper. I hold a clean/clear GA state title in my name in hand. I won’t require a deposit, but expect full payment within 3 business days. I prefer bank to bank wire, or cashier’s check with tracking #. Title or vehicle do not leave my possession until paid in full. I welcome 3rdparty inspections during but, not after the auction, at my home under my supervision. Glad to speak with you over email or phone with questions, so much has been done to this truck, hard to get it all in an add without writing a novel.
