According to the VIN #, this is a 1967 Chevelle Malibu.
I bought this as a project car with the sole intention of making it a hot rod and selling it.
I ended up replacing almost everything on the car.
I have replaced the tail pan, trunk floor, inner and outer fenders, quarter panels, both doors, vent window assembly, front fenders, hood, grill, lights, bumpers, and the entire interior less the headliner. Motor is now a 454 with an automatic floor shift. Ceramic headers and a Flow Master exhaust give this car a nice deep, throaty sound. The entire front end has been replaced: springs, shocks, spindles, power disc brakes, and tie rods. Frame is straight and strong; there are no holes or repairs to it. The car has a new gas tank, gas lines, brake lines, master cylinder, and rear brake shoes and drums. The tires are also new. The paint color on the car is called lemon drop. It is a custom blend with pearl. I've got the car parked on a busy street corner, and it literally makes traffic stop as drivers try to get a longer look at it. The car is like new. Taken care of well, this Chevelle will have a long live ahead of it.
