Description

Up for auction today is a rolling 66 Impala project car. This is a complete car minus motor/trans/rear window stainless. It had a small block and 4 speed when purchased, but motor/trans have since been removed and are no longer available with car. This car has sat since the 1990's and will require a full restoration, but is a good solid very restoreable car. This is a factory power brake, standard shift (or at least all of the correct standard shift components appear to be there for a floor shift car), air conditioned car (heater/evaporator box in the trunk), with a factory in dash tach. As seen in the pictures car will need lower fender patch work on both fenders, the passenger fender will also need a spot repaired higher up on the fender. It needs lower front quarter panel patch work as seen in the pics as well as small areas repaired around the drivers wheel well. There is also a small spot along the passenger drip rail that will need repaired as seen in the pics, the stainless drip rail molding has been carefully removed to repair this area, and is included with the car. This car has already had lower rear quarter panels replaced at one point in its life prior to my purchase. The trunk floor as well as both front floor pans will need replaced, however the frame is solid and floor pans from under the front seat back to the trunk are all quite solid and nice as seen in the pics. The front seat is torn up, but the rear seat and panels are intact. I believe the headliner has been replaced at one point because it is one of the nicer parts of the interior, however the rear sail panels and package tray will need replaced. The car when I got it had several coats of old flaking paint and large areas of bare metal and surface rust, it's since been shot in a single coat of epoxy to protect it (and improve the overall asthetics) but will need stripped to the bare metal as it still has all the texture of the bad paint and surface scale/pitting. the hood/header panel/grill have all been replaced with nicer pieces from a donor car. The tires will hold air for transport and working on the car, but are just rollers and would not be safe to tow on a dolly, so will need to be hauled on a trailer or roll back, or supply your own road worthy tires/wheels (car has a 12 bolt posi with standard chevy 5x4.75 bolt pattern.) Car has clear title in my name ready to sign over to the buyer. Car rolls and steers nicely and is located at my business with a large open parking lot big enough to turn a tractor/trailer and I'll be available to help if need be with loading on your trailer. Buyer responsible for all pickup/shipping arrangements, but will do all we can to make it as easy of a job for you and your shipper as possible. Prefer car to be picked up within 7 days of auctions end, unless arrangements are made with me prior to auctions end. $500 deposit required via paypal within 48 hours, and the remaining balance due prior to pickup. The funds must be cleared before car will be released. Car is stored in a dry climate controlled shop and can be viewed at any time, so I would encourage anyone to come take a look or send an inspector to look at the car prior to bidding if you like, I can meet you here at any time to fit your schedule. Car is also for sale locally, so i reserve the right to end the auction at any time if someone shows up with a car hauler and cash. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask, you can reach me through Ebay, or call/text me at 440-241-9762, just ask for Phillip (myself) or Marvin (my dad.) This is a VERY low reserve price auction, as we're looking just to sell this car quickly to help fund building another project we have already started on. Good Luck and happy bidding.
