Car description |

57 Stepside, in great condition for a 59 year old truck, it has bench seat, a correct 283 v8 motor (it may very well be the original numbers matching motor, I have checked the numbers and it seems to be year correct) however no original title or paper work to confirm, it has powerglide transmission, body straight, no dents with great sheet metal, very little to no rust, little surface rust no rusted through sheet metal on body panels such as doors, fenders, hood, cab corners, this truck is solid around the glass channels back and front, motor not frozen and spins, the doors are solid and don't sag, I would recommend having the ignition upgraded from points to hei, and possible transmission switch at some point. unless a powerglide is what you desire, this truck has a clutch. I have owned several of this year and this is the best starter truck for a restoration or daily driver that i have ever owned or seen at this price point period. The floors do need work as with most, i have included the floor pan for the passenger side but 85% to 90% of this truck is solid, please do not call if you do not know or want a restoration project, or if you expect too not do any work at all as it is 59 years old and not new!!! This truck can be a running driving truck with maybe a weekend of work to get it running, and a good daily driver with paint and cleaning it up...To many other projects and space is becoming an issue, so i hope this lovely truck finds a desired lovely new owner and home. Will give some parts with the truck car such as headlight trim rings. The bad: this truck was purchased here in Atlanta, from a reputable older gentlemen seller who owned the truck for years, this truck will be sold with bill of sale and no title.Deposit of US $500.00 within 48hours of auction close with balance due within 7 days, buyer to pay all shipping costs.

On May-27-16 at 11:58:24 PDT, seller added the following information:I have the front bumper, rear bumper, front fender trim 3100 spears, and 1 head light trim ring. I am adding the following notes: 1. The truck floor bed pictures as shown is solid and in decent shape for the year 2. The roof drip channel is solid and in great shape 3. back glass window is solid and doesn't show any rust around window glass from my observation 4. Front windshield also has no visible rust and seem to also be very solid. 5. Truck bedsides also solid, on does have a small hole about 1/4 inch in size 6. 6 lug wheels 7. Front seat does have a rip on the driver side of the bench seat. 8. driver and passenger door glass cracked and could use replacements.. To sum it all up, this is a great start on a nice old truck, lots of the fenders, hood, doors, side steps, floor bed, bed sides, sheet metal in general is good, my plans were to sand blast the entire truck, and then repair what needed repairing, and move forward from that point. To many projects, and space is becoming an issue.
