1958 Chevrolet Impala

Very solid and beautiful 1958 Impala for sale. This is a true onyx black car from the factory (paint code 900) with correct Grey/Black/Red interior (trim code 854). This car was recently frame on restored and is very solid. Taken down to bare metal and body lines are very smooth. The car is not a perfect show car but would be a great and solid driver.
Some of the trim has pits and could use rechroming. The paint is fresh but has some chips where the trim was put back on and really needs a good buff as it has numerous surface swirl marks. But I really think most all of those would buff right out and the paint lays smooth and flat and the body is laser straight.The upholstery is new and looks great. This is one of the absolute most popular color combos of black exterior with tri-color grey/black/red interior. The engine is the 348 which fires up easy, pulls strong and is easy to tune.
This car could either make a great basis for a full on restoration or drive it now as the perfect cool looking driver. It has the big engine but without the tri-power it is easy to tune (and you can always add that later if you want). The color combo is the best around and the car is solid and strong. This is a great place to park your money in something you can actually enjoy. '58 Impalas will always have a strong following and market with that unmistakable one-year-only styling. It is the ultimate cruiser and will just continue going up in value. And unlike your stocks, this is an investment that you can actually enjoy while it's going up in value. This was a dream ride for them and I am hoping it goes to someone else who will enjoy it. I always want to try and be upfront in the description and make sure people know this isn't a perfect car. The trim has some pits in it and the car needs a buff. But this is a car that has all the difficult things done, is very straight and smooth and solid, and will make someone a great driver to enjoy or possibly take to that next show car level.
