You are bidding on a very original survivor 1968 Chevy C10 short bed fleetside truck.One family owned since 1978 farm truck from Pueblo, CO. Truck has rare dark blue exterior on light blue and dark blue interior. Great running numbers matching V8 with 2 barrel carburetor and 4 speed on the floor transmission. Previous owners records show the engine was rebuilt and currently has less than 57k miles on it! When the engine was rebuilt,the transmission got a new clutch, throw out bearing and flywheel. Uncut dash has working AM/FM radio. Truck has all of its original sheetmetal and paint on the inside and outside of the cab, inside and outside of the doors, fenders, hood, bed front wall, tailgate, front and rear bumpers. Truck has great patina! Rust repair was just completed to the outer areas of the cab supports,inner and outer rockers and cab corners. Brand new Goodmark short bed sides replaced the long bed sides and the frame was professionally shortened. Truck has a brand new drive shaft, battery, battery tray and battery hold down, side mirrors, mirror arm and wiper blades.
Inside the cab of the truck is like new! New interior parts include a brand new ACC dark blue carpet kit, door weatherstripping, door sill plates, brand new sun visors, wing window hardware, door latch, dome lamp and lens, dash pad, foot pedal covers and an awesome looking blue with blue and black houndstooth bench seat cover!
I am including the pictured exterior trim pieces in the auction, if the buyer would like them, at no additional charge. The truck never had side trim installed, so you would have to either drill holes for the hardware or find an alternative way to attach them. These pieces are worth a few hundred dollars.
