1982 Chevrolet 1 Ton Custom Car Hauler

Garage owner/have dealer license...my personal hauler.. Not built in 1982..I chose this body style when I built the truck.The 454 gas engine runs like a top. Transmission (turbo 400) has less than 500 miles on the rebuild.

Absolutelystunning Suburban interior is in 90(+)% condition...headliner has turned loose and afew small issues like cracked dash pad..(truck has been sitting without much use). The truck was builtfor hauling hot rods and customs. Back seats lay down to make room for abed or?.. I needed a place to take a nap without leaving my high dollar cargo unattendedin a motel parking lot on longer trips....andfor over nite trips to swap meets and car shows.

It has a strong 8,000 lb. winch and hydraulic stinger...easy pull out rear ramps, ith lots of storage in the side bins. Strong 454 engine that has all the engine accessories and brackets,withevery nut and bolt in place.

A/C worked perfectlywhen truck was in service last....may need charge now. Excellent driving truck with asmooth as silk suspension..I drove it about a month ago with no mechanical issues .

Truck has been mostly sittingthe last few years...I just got to old to keep up the grind.Cab body needs attention..bondo cracking on left rear quarter and roof seam...what you see is what you get with no hidden mechanical issues. Just needs to be goneover and brought up to speed. It was a real show stopperwhenit wasfirst built! Tires are old, utno miles on them to speak of. Mileage listed is what is on odometer....not really sure what it has since rebuild.

I just addeda couple of extra old photos of the hauler"back when it was first built" and it's baby sister (..a wheel lift wrecker)loaded on the hauler bed. Also included is a later picof the truck with a Corvette restoration project I had just purchased.
