This stunning 1968 Chevrolet Camaro RS custom has just received a full nut and bolt restoration into one awesome pro-touring style coupe. The build began with a very solid and excellent camaro that was completely disassembled and very meticulously put back together into the show stopper you see now. The suspension was dropped from the body and completely rebuilt with all new bushings along with new upper tubular a-arms, djustable coil-overs, way bar and all new brakes. The body was custom painted inside and out with Toyota red on bottom and black on top separated by a painted metallic gold pin stripe all covered in clear and color sanded and buffed to perfection. The fit and finish of the car is excellent and the show quality paint really shows off how straight the body is. The interior of the Camaro has been completely replaced with new factory deluxe black door panels and seat covers and the dash has been restored with new AutoMeter gauges housed in a carbon fiber insert along with a chrome tilt column and Billet Specialties steering wheel. Other features include air condition and all new chrome hardware. All glass and weather stripping have also been replaced with new. The drive train for this car consist of a 454 big block topped with aluminum heads and intake, olley 750 carb, allory ignition and an aluminum water pump with custom pulleys. The transmission is a M21 Muncie 4 speed linked to a 10 bolt positraction rear end with a 3.42 gear ratio. The Camaro is also equipped with power steering and power disc brakes and sits on 17" Billet Specialties aluminum wheels. The hide-a-way headlights are electric and work perfectly. The car runs and drives superb and is very, ery fast. A ton of man hours has been put into this beast and the quality of workmanship shows. This is not your ordinary run of the mill Camaro and it really turns heads and stands out on the street.
