Car description

Here is a YouTube link to this truck.Pay attention to the details. Virtually every nut, olt, asher, eather stripping, tc is new on this truck!https://youtu.be/upMVGX5GNYs

I received this truck in a trade arrangement at the end of August 2015. I have driven it approximately 20 miles. So I know very little about it except that it starts quick, uns good, nd has tremendous power! The previous owner gave me a loose leaf binder with a bunch of info in it including contact info for the original builder. I will give this loose leaf to the winning bidder.

This is a complete frame off restoration. It is an absolutely beautiful truck. The exterior paint on this truck is like a mirror! It is super smooth and shiny! There are a few nicks and chips in the paint as I noted above and attempted to show in the video. The truck has been stored inside since it was rebuilt. It is originally a California truck.

The engine is a 454 block built to 427 specs with 781 heads, 27 steel crank, peed Pro forged 11-1 pistons, peed Pro chrome moly rings, M heavy duty rods with aftermarket heavy duty rod bolts, 781 110cc cylinder head port matched and pocket ported, 25 horse 219x188 stainless steel valves, rane long slot rockers with grooved balls, oly retainers with hardened locks, 50 lift and230 duration PBM cam, RW double roller chain, RW high volume oil pump with steel drive, quart oil pan, levite 77 bearing kit, /8" push rods, org Warner computer balanced and spun for automatic transmission, nd blue printed similar to 1969 Corvette big block. According to the previous owner, here is $23,000 in new parts in the truck. And over $5,000 worth of parts in the engine build. There is a nitrous system installed on the engine. And the recommended shot is 150. The truck comes with an assortment of jets for the nitrous system. The tranny is an automatic with a 3000 stall convertor. There is a one gallon fuel cell next to the radiator for aviation fuel for drag strip use.

Rear axle is 4.11 posi traction with allnew GM innards. The rear end is balanced.

This truck runs 11.90 at the strip with a 150 shot of nitrous. On a good day it should be even better.

There are 2-1/2" dropped spindles under the front of the truck. And a 3" drop in the rear of the truck.

All of the rubber weather stripping on this truck is new. This includes the door, indows, nd under hood weather stripping.

The tires are fairly new with about 95% tread or better. There is also a pair of slicks with inner tubes in the bed of the truck that are included in the sale.

The previous owner had a minor accidentinvolving the front of the truck causing damage to the passenger front fender and the new front bumper. The fender and bumperdamage is clearly visible inthe YouTube video link mentioned earlier. I believe the existing fender could be repaired. The grill isnot damaged except for a crack at the extreme lower rear edge of the passenger side of the grill. And there is one small ding at the top of the grill that appears to be from a stone hitting it. There is NO apparent visible damage to the inner wheel well or to anything else under the vehicle. There is also a small minor dent on the driver's side rear corner of the cab, here the cab hit the bed in the accident.

One of the power steering hoses leaks from a loose fan belt rubbing against it. The belt was tightened. And a temporary hose clamp fix was done to the hose. The hose needs to be replaced or repaired.

The fuel pressure gauge under the hood, or the fuel cell, has an "internal" leak. It simply needs a new gauge.

The front end needs to have an alignment done. It steers fine going down the road. But it's not proper when sharp making turns. It is especially noticeable at very slow speed such as when making a tight left andright turns when trying to park it in a storage unit. The outboard tire seems to scuff and/or squeal when making a sharp very slow speed turn.

The turn signals are not wired correctly. When either turn signal is turned on, all" turn signals flash like a four way system. It appears that someone got their wires crossed.

The speedometercable needs a new plastic gear to match the rear end gear ratio in order for the speedometer to work. As such, do NOT know the true miles on this truck. The odometer currently reads 5635. Again, his is probablyNOT the true miles although it is obvious that this truck has extremely low miles since the rebuild.

The wood in the bed has the clear coat coming off in places. However, he wood is in very good condition. If I were going to refinish the wood, would remove it and run each board thru a thickness planer to remove the old finish and maintain a uniform thickness.

This truck is located in Jacksonville, C 28540. It is currently in storage at $87 per month. The payment is due on the 24th of each month. It can stay in storage after you purchase it if you'd like. But you will have to transfer the storage contract to your name. And you will have to pay the storage fees of course. If you don't choose to put the contract in your name, hen I will store the truck for up to thirty (30) days at my expense after the close of this Ebay auction. After 30 days, will no longer be responsible for the storage of this truck.

A transfer of $500 to my Paypal account is due within24 hours of winning this auction. The balance is payable either in cash when you pick up the truck or confirmed Certified Bank Checkbefore picking up the truck. I will NOT release this truck until I either have cash in full, r confirmationthat a Certified Check has cleared my banking account.

I do have a clean and clear North Carolina title for this truck. It is currently registered and insured in North Carolina.

If you choose to ship this truck, will assist you in the process within reason.

This truck is listed for sale or tradelocally. As such, reserve the right to remove this Ebay listing at any time.

This truck is being sold as is and where is. There is absolutely no warranty given or implied. As I said earlier, know very little about this truck. But I have tried to disclosed everything I know about it.

If you want to view this truck in person before bidding on it, eel free to contact me. I can be available most any time to accommodate you.

Feel free to contact me with any questions.

I have a low reserve of $19,000. That's a lot of truck for that price!

On Nov-24-15 at 07:07:43 PST, eller added the following information:

This is a professionally built"SHOW" truck. Every detail is beautiful! It has spent its life stored inside since the frame offrestore. As stated previously, have set my reserve price at a very low $19,000. This isat least$10,000 lower than what it would be worth without the accident damage. Also, he mirror was stolen from the exterior of the driver's door at a car show. All I have is the actual mounting hardware and the base (stem) as you can see in the pictures. The actual glass and its frame work was stolen. The YouTube video shows it removed from the door. But it will be included with the truck.
