I acquired this 1948 Chevrolet five passenger coupe as part of a trade for a classic 1956 Ford Victoria. Due to my age and health and since I have other street rods I have decided to sell this car. It has a Small Block Chevrolet 350 cubic inch V8 with an automatic 350 transmission with a Lokar floor shifter. It has headers with dual exhaust. The front suspension, teering and brakes have been upgraded to 1954 Chevrolet components which allowed for five lug wheels compatible to the rear wheels on the late model chevrolet rear end. It has new aftermarket dash gauges. The interior as been redone with new seat upholstery and door panels. All of the glass is in good condition. The doors open and close easily. The electric system is 12 volt. It has a new aftermarket heater. The car runs, rives and stops very well. I have an exterior sun visor that goes with the car. I also have an aftermarket radio/CD player with speakers that goes with the car - I didn't install these because I didn't want to modify any aspect of the interior, eaving that up to the buyer. The car is a solid dependable driver which will provide family cruising enjoyment for a reasonable investment. I canot verify the mileage since the original speedometer has been replaced.
