1957 chevrolet cameo pickup project v/8 automatic apache fleetside

This is a 1957 Chevrolet pickup with the very sought after cameo bed only selling to fund another project (if not sold I will finish later)

some history on this truck it had been wrecked many years agoup north in Alaska the cameo parts were brought back to Washington and another red1957 deluxe cab factory V/8 autopickup with very little rust was used to rebuild the truck. Title, in and cab numbers all match the donor truck,motor was replaced with a 327 and trans updated to a 350 still shifted by original shifter. Motor runs well andlots of parts have been replacedhas new wide white wall tires

Cab and frontend have been painted (have paint codes for the bed) truck is loosely assembled for transport comes with set of inner fenders and hood release panelsthat have all ready been striped and painted. chrome parts should be re chromed but can be used as is. has original 3124 fender emblems (may be missing 1 hydromatic and V emblem for the door) has rear andpassenger side glass that is out in pic's also comes with new trim for around windows

Bed is mostly complete and I think it has original bed wood. fiberglass sides had some lower damage but are being repairedthebed trim iswith the truck including taillights, ailgate handles, ailgate emblem,front, op, ide trim, ow tie plates and cameo script.may be missingpieces under the taillights (I have not seen them recently).rear bumper is missing center bumperetts. and spare tire well is not here

has clear Washington title in my name 57 cameo plate does not come with this truck

Interior has original radio, loor mat, eluxe heater and seat (comes with new red/white seat cover)also has period correct fan

interior and motor compartment need to be cleaned up (dusty from sitting at body shop)

This is a very easy truck to finish and will make a nice driver or resale I was going to finish paint and assemble as is and make it my shop truck
