Car description

This is a 1973 Chevy Vega Notchback coupe. This has been a project car for the past few years, nd has been a tremendous amount of fun to work on, ut I have too many projects, nd sadly need to give this one up. This would be a great car for someone who wants to have a small classic car that really turns heads. These are incredibly rare, nd you never see them at the shows, o if you are looking for something a little different, ou have arrived. The benefit of this car is that parts are still pretty cheap, nd easily sourced from online dealers (Rockauto.com has been excellent)The car has all new shocks, prings, rakes (Upgraded brakes with power booster). The body is straight, ith very little rust. Couple of small spots on the rear quarters, nd one spot by windshield. Minor stuff that could easily be taken care of when it goes out to paint. The exterior is matte grey currently, nd looks fine, ut could use a paint job.The interior is pretty clean, new carpet, nd dynamat noise insulation were installed recently. Seats are in good shape, nd dash is ok, ut has a crack on the top, hich is very typical for cars of this age and era.Mechanically the car is good, nd runs and drives nicely. However, t does have over 88k miles on the original engine. It smokes a bit, ut does not consume tremendous amounts of oil. The ignition system is all new (distributor, lugs, ires, oil), nd the carb has been rebuilt. It still needs some tuning to get it perfect. Also, t has been sitting for 6 months, o may need a little TLC before making it a daily driver. All in all, t would make a fun resto-mod project car, r a drag car if you want to go the engine-swap route that is popular. Depending on what you are looking to do, can give you some spare parts, nd documentation and maintenance books (also have the V6 conversion manual as I was considering that for a while).
