1953 Chevy with SBC 350, ova front clip + rear end
Has a Nova front clip and a chevy 350 with 2-barrel carb. Turbo 350 transmission.
It has power brakes and power steering.
The truck runs and drives. It needs a little work to be a daily driver.
The previous owner painted the truck and took care of rust areas. I don't know where or whether there is any bondo. I can't feel any holes in the cab corners.
He had a new bed fabricated, o i don't know if has exact dimensions if you want to put in a wood bed kit.
Here is the work that it needs, rom what i know so far:
engine needs a tune up - possibly carb rebuild(?). It stall if you let it idle too low
shocks are not fastened to rear end
no bumpers - since it has nova from clip, ou will need to figure out how to fasten front bumper
Doors were converted to a shaved-handle, idden-button kind of thing. The driver's side doesn't work.
I can't find the vin plate in the door jam, o i'm going off the title. Title says J53, hich probably means it was 3/4 ton.
I bought this in the last month and decided to sell because i simply don't have time to do all this work. I bought this as a daily driver and as i've discovered things, m a bit overwhelmed by the various projects. I also am wanting something a little more stock (something with door handles and original bed).
Truck is sold AS-IS. I've tried to describe everything accurately and honestly. If there is something this is unclear, lease email me any questions. I will try to answer them to the best of my knowledge. i can try to take more pictures of things too.
Deposit of $1000 is due 48 hours after buying.
