1953 Chevrolet 6500 Tow Truck, Wheel Lift, Wrecker

I am selling my 1953 Chevy Tow Truck,Wheel Lift truck.I am the second owner.The truck has a rebuilt 261 cid six with a 4 speed trans, range Watson,new brakes,sleeved wheel cylinders,new front tires and factory two speed rear for extra pulling power.Installed is a Holmes HP-552 Wheel Lift / Under Lift with remote and Ramsey 12,000 LB front winch with remote.A separate PTO has been installed for a future rear bed winch.Truck has been converted to a 12 volt system with alternator.All weatherstrips have been replaced.Included is a new head liner,rubber floor mat,original jack,Holmes operator's manual,Chevy shop manual,Chevy operator's manual,GM Engineering Technical Data from the GM Restoration Department (see pictures),door glass and channels.The truck is licensed and just passed the New York State inspection in October.Please ask your questions before you bid.Vehicle can be inspected in Southold, ew York, 1971 by appointment only.Thank you for your interest.Buyer is responsible for shipping.
