Car description

Up for auctionis myFathom Blue 1970 Nova SS 396. This is a real SS396 L78Nova,Not a clone. It is probably one of the nicest, traightest, ust free Novas around. Car looks even better in person. I bought it from a guy that owned it for 20 years and bought from original owner. The original 396 was blown up long ago and it now hasfresh 555 cid Dart Marlin Block with Pro Comp Aluminum rectangle port heads, beam rods, 340 steel crank, olley carb, tc.. This is a pump gas enginethat has a Ton of torque and horsepower. Needs slicks to hook up as itjust melts street tires even with caltracs. The transmission is aMuncie4 speed. The originalCBT code355:1 12 bolt posirear end is still in thecar along withits big block radiator support, ig block heater core, ront power disc brakes,etc..This rear end wasstandardfor the 1970375hp L78 Novas. This Nova Looks, ounds,Runs and Drives Awesome! It has had one repaint in its originalFathom Blue and the black vinyl top was added.Body is laser straight. I would give the paint a 9 on a 10 scale only because there are a fewimperfections that most people wouldn't even notice. All rust free body panels appear to be original as well as the rust free trunk and floors. There is a little typical surface rust in trunk and underneath where the paint or coating has been scraped. The undercarriage is beautiful, lean, ust freeand straight as well. The front subframe was professionally modified and reinforced to accommodate the 555 engine so car would still accept its original SS hood and maintain that "sleeper" look. Modification also allows for ease of oil pan removal.Car alsohasframe connectorsfor added strength. All glass and trim moldings are in excellent condition. The black custom bench seat interior is in excellent condition and mostly original. There are 2 small repairable tears in the driver's seat and headrest and the carpet has a couple tears in the front. I have attempted to be very thorough in my description and pictures of this Nova, owever, t is possible that I may have unintentionally missedor overlooked something soI encourage all potential buyers to inspect this vehicle prior to making a potentially winning bid. There is No warranty or guarantee with this vehicle. Shipping is the full responsibility and cost to the buyer. Buyer to pay $1,000 deposit within 24 hours of auction end and balance within7 days of auction end unless other arrangements are accepted by seller prior to auction end. Car is also listed locally so I reserve the right to end auction at any time.My name is Donnie and I can becalled or texted at 561-876-8038 for anyquestions regarding this car. I'm sure that the lucky winner will be veryhappy with this amazing SS Nova!
