My father's friend, ay, urchased in 1985 from original owner in Inlet, Y where he had moved to when he retired from his job on California. He had purchased the truck in California after he had retired to use it at the Bed and Breakfast he and his wife had purchased at Inlet in the Adirondack Mountains. He only used the truck during the summer when the B &B was open. Ray purchased the truck when the owner decided to retire from the B&B at the age of 92. Ray bought it and put it in his barn thinking he would eventually restore it, t sat for 12 years untouched until his son bought it from him, is son, lso Ray, ut in a new clutch and pressure plate, rove it for one Summer in 1999, hen parked it next to his house.....for the next 17 years......until I purchased it it in August and went through it mechanically, nstalling many new parts. The paint was all faded so I wet sanded it and then buffed it out with 4 different buffing compounds and then polished to the brilliant shine that it now has. Ray, he father, idn't realize it was his old truck until the third or forth time he saw it and he recognized the tear his son put in the bottom of the right front fender, just purchased a replacement fender for it this week that I removed from a Cheyenne C20.Truck Starts and Runs Well and can be driven anywhere. Very Good on Gas! Burns or leaks no oil.
