This luxury sports car started out when GM sent hundreds of Corvettes to Pegasus Corporation in Vero Beach, lorida. Pegasus was in the business of doing fiberglass work, nd built a Ferrari design body for the Corvettes. it is considered to be one of the finest kit cars ever made, lthough it was really built in their factory. The entire drive chain is GM/Corvette, long with the disc brakes, rame and suspension. The dash and interior are also Corvette. Pegasus added the Ferrari design fiberglass body. The only other thing added was a custom burl dash face. The photos should show an original beautiful bright red paint. The prior owner hardly ever drove this car and kept it inside with a car cover. I bought it from him at his wife's instructions, s he was getting older. He spent two hours telling me about how fantastic the car was. He told me it got 24+mpg because it has an overdrive gear. I took it out of town for dinner with my wife. That's what it gets in the mountains. The RPM rarely exceeds 1500.The car is relatively quiet for this type of car. The four exhaust pipes make a mellow sound. (It has a new double vinyl convertible top to reduce noise).I was surprised at how many people recognize the car. Everywhere I went, eople had to tell me it was not a real Ferrari, ell me the history, nd of course, ell me how it was used in the Miami Vice TV series. If you want to be seen and noticed, don't know of any better way.I fell in love with this car, ut have a 2 car garage and 8 other cars. My wife got mad. I've only had it for a couple of weeks.Check the photo of the original window sticker to see all the accessories, ptions and features.
