This is an absolutely gorgeous vehicle that gets non-stop attention everywhere it goes! The body is a 1939 Chevrolet Master 85 2-Door Sedan and has been customized into a very unique street rod. It is powered by a mildly built small block Chevy 350 and backed by a TH/350 automatic transmission. The engine compartment is just as stunning as the rest of the vehicle with a ton of chrome gleaming at you when you pop the hood. The 350 runs super strong and has a mild cam which gives it that kind of rhythmic idle that you'd like to sit back and have a beer with. The previous owner told me it is a Camaro front end/sub-frame but I can't say for sure. Whatever it is, he vehicle goes down the road straight and true while delivering a nice soft and quiet ride. This Chevy has also been upgraded with power steering, ower brakes, nd a tilt column. All lights operate including turn signals and high beams. The Candy Apple Red paint work was done about 7 years ago and looks absolutely beautiful with the exception of a few blemishes when you get close (see pics). The interior is completed in tan clothupholstery and is very comfortable to sit in. The rear seats offer a generous amount of leg room for an adult and the windows in the rear actually roll down about half way as well. This was built to be an old fashioned street rod, o there is no a/c, eat, adio, r seat belts. The speedometer functions, owever the needle fell off and is at the bottom of the gauge and I have not had time to take it apart and fix it yet. It is a perfect car to drive just the way it is while still winning trophies at local car shows, r could easily be brought to the next level with a little bit of updating and a few paint touch ups. With the just a little bit more money and work in the right hands, his car could easily be worth double what it's worth now. The car is very user friendly and it's a blast to drive! Every gas station, ed light, r store that I stop at, get countless thumbs ups, ompliments, r people asking to take pictures. I have tried to describe the car as accurately as possible and I can send more pictures upon request. Feel free to call Mike anytime at 815-222-2197 with any further questions. I reserve the right to end the auction early. Thanks for reading!
