Car description |

1969 Camaro Pro-Touring, 83 with EFI, KO 600, -Link
I recently purchased this car and has my luck would have it, local car I have wanted for years has now become available to me and I only have room for one toy.
I have only put a little over 150 miles on the car since owning it and here is what I know. This car runs strong and the handling is amazing! Car runs great, racks nice and straight and the C6 brakes work great.
Car is very quick and responsive going through gears and with the overdrive cruises wonderfully down the highway at about 2200 rpm at 70MPH.
The previous owner did all the upgrades I am going to list within the last three years and car has less than 1,000 miles on it since upgrades.
I am listing with avery reasonablereserve, ess than paid, nd will hope all works out.
Motor-
383 Stroker with EZ-EFI Fuel injection
March Polished Serpentine setup (with compressor for Vintage Air)
Complete MSD Ignition system (box and coil under dash)
Hooker ceramic coated Competition headers
Edelbrock Endurashine Intake
Brand NEW Be Cool radiator with Mark VII electric fan
Optima Redtop Battery (trunk mounted)
Cold Air Intake.
Billet Hood Hinges
Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust system that exits through the rear valence.(very clean look)
I am told the engine has a Callies Forged Crank, E Forged Pistons, omp Cams hyd. camshaft, rofiler aluminum heads with Manley titanium retainers and 1.6 roller rockers. Seller was not sure of the connecting rods but based on everything else involved in the build I am sure they are high quality. Obviously I cannot verify what the short block consists without a tear down but nothing was skimped anywhere on this build and this engine has loads of power! Carries great oil pressure and the EFI is amazingly responsive. I did pop a valve cover off to confirm there are roller rockers.
The engine bay is super clean.

Rear seats and rear package tray are all custom
Chrome tilt steering column with aftermarket steering wheel.
Marshall electric gauges, acklighting color changeable with flip of a switch.
EZ Wiring harness.
Fuse box, Z-EFI module in glove box.
Headliner perfect, ail panels, oor panels and carpet all excellent.
New glass and weather strip all the way around. Doors open and close perfectly, nbsp;windows roll up and down smoothly.
Custom trunk enclosure with 2-10" subs and power amp and battery kill switch.
Body/paint
Flame Red. White has a subtle pearl metallic for a nice look. Car was not repainted when all upgrades were made. Car is very straight, olid and the paint is way above average. There are some chips, mall cracks and a couple small areas where the paint bubbled (very small) I am very critical and fussy when it comes to paint and did not even notice the small issues with it when first looking at it.
Bumpers, rip rails and window trim all have great fit and finish. All emblems in tact and in great shape.
What this car needs-
The only issue I see mechanically with the car is a rear end whine under coast. It performs fine under acceleration but does whine under coast, y guess is too much backlash when it was setup. Also I feel there needs to be a heavier gauge cable running from the trunk to the starter, ust does not seem to be enough juice getting up to turn it over as quickly as I would like. ( had the Optima tested and it is perfect).
Struts to hold trunk open need replaced.
As I said I am over critical when it comes to paint. When this car is outside or in the sunlight the paint looks great! Under florescent lights the flaws I mentioned show up...color sand, uff and touch up a few areas and she would be good as new.
Overall great car that has all the hard, xpensive stuff already done.
I will also include a like new car cover.
