Here is a beautifully restored 1955 Chevy 3200,real stake body truck. We bought this truck fro the original farm family in 2009. It was an original 265ci truck from the factory with a 3spd transmission. The truck has undergone a complete body/frame off restoration which was completed 1.5 years ago. It is painted a Burgundy Maroon (Sonoma jewel) with some pearl for the great look and the interior is painted Bombay ivory with the dash burgundy maroon and the seat in a burgundy color with extra padding for a great look. It sports a 350ci engine with the original transmission (rebuilt of course) as far as we can tell. The shifter was moved to the floor by the farmer some many years back and we left it there for the patina. The truck was outfitted with a new wiring harness and converted to and alternator system replacing the generator. An aluminum radiator, lectronic ignition, ll new lights, witches, ignals and taillights. The frame was soda blasted and painted with KBS satin paint, ith new brakes, rake lines, oses, aster cylinder, uel lines and a custom dual exhaust system. The interiorincludes black carpet, rm rests, very comfy seat and the original AM radio. (which is not hooked up, ut worked when disassembled) and has the big back window. The truck bed has the original surround framing with new original looking cross beams. The bed sports all oak flooring and side racks with stainless steel bed strips. It is stained and varnished with marine varnish to hold up to any weather. We built this truck to be a parade vehicle as well as just for fun, ecause it's different. It runs and drives excellent, ocally and even on the highway. We have cd's of the restoration and the owners manual, nd some other collected information.
This truck is a great example of American History. I do reserve the right to end this listing at anytime as the vehicle is for sale locally as well. If you are a serious buyer and have more questions either email me or call 240-529-8211 and I'd be happy to answer questions you may have or send you more pictures if needed. Want to inspect it, 'm open to that as there's nothing to hide, ust pure great workmanship was performed building this vehicle.

To clear up a question regarding the engine. This truck came from the factory with a 265ci motor, ne of the 1st V-8 trucks in 1955. That engine was seized up in 1966 and the farmer replaced it with a 327ci motor, hich was also seized up when I bought the truck. It now has a 1976 350ci motor in it from a 1976 C-10 pick up.
