I have a nice 1950 Chevy 3 window pickup. It was restored 30 years ago by my friends uncle who had the sub frame installed by a shop in Santa Rosa, a. The front clip is a 70's Camaro with a turbo 350 transmission. The rear end is a 10 bolt A body Oldsmobile. The truck is rust free with some filler applied. This is not a show piece but a very good driver. The truck starts first time and is registered until next year. It's a cleat title. I installed new springs in the front, hocks and rebuilt what was needed. The brakes are good also. I added a couple of leaf springs in the back to level the truck. I don't like cut coils so I put on the new spring. It also has dolphin gauges. The gas tank is in the back and the gauges work as well. Drives like a car and handles well.
