Car description

Up for auction is a numbers matching 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS 396/350hp with a turbo 400 transmission and factory air conditioning. This car is from California and was brought to Florida in January of 2004. This car will be sold on a California title. This car has 66,344 original miles. It was originally Cortez Silver but was repainted a 67’ Royal Plum. Instead of asking what my reserve is make me a respectable offer and I will get back to you.

This car has amazing bones, ery very solid original undercarriagewith no patches on the floor pans, ocker panels or frame rails. It could use some paint work as you can see in the photos but certainly is acceptable for a driver. The quarter panels were recently painted and so was the hood and front valance. The fenders and doors dulled out and some lacquer checking is visible, hese areas will need to be repainted to match the rest of the car. It is as simple as a scuff and repaint, ot much body work needs to be done as the car is very solid. The vinyl top could use a replacement which I have photographed, here are bubbles underneath.

The doors open and close nicely and all the windows roll up and down easily. The tach is functional however I do not think the fuel gauge nor any of the console gauge pack gauges work, hey need to be hooked up. The marker lights also do not work, ot sure why. Where the driver side marker light is there is a few body blemishes which I have photographed. The interior is in nice condition with good upholstery, riginal headliner and all seatbelts including shoulder belts. The antenna is not hooked up. The rosewood is in excellent condition.

The original 396 is very strong and was recently rebuild. The VIN is stamped in the block and it matches the car. The broach marks are present and all numbers are visible. The choke needs to be hooked up ad adjusted, ou have to warm it up before it will idle on its own. It is a quadrajet 4bbl. The original exhaust manifolds are present. The engine has a new starter, lternator, attery, nd AC compressor. The air is complete but needs a few small repairs to be functional. The front tires are too big and do rub whenturning the wheel, efinitely need a smaller tire up front for daily driving.

Please look through all the photo thoroughly and ask any and all questions.
