The floors are painted body color with a detailed frame. This Chevy says quality everywhere you look. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, nterior, nd heartbeat of the Chevy, ut first we would like to tell you a little about us.Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, perated, nd own our entire inventory, o consignments, nd only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. This is a frame off Resto where the body was set on a rotisserie. The floors were slicked and painted body color. The body panels were removed and what metal work was needed was done before being reinstalled to ensure a good fit before paint. Everything was then covered in the two tone Turquoise and White Paint scheme. It was been buffed and polished before the all new glass with new seals and trim was installed. Also, ll the weather stripping was replaced to ensure good tight fit of the doors and trunk. All the chrome was also replaced or polished and dual mirrors was added. The Wheel package is a set of 18" and 20" Billets with New Tires. Next, e will take a look at the interior of the '55. On the inside it's all done in the factory style with the bench seats. The covers are the correct style for a '55 and are done in the factory Turquoise and White colors. The door panels were also redone in the correct style along with the right carpet. The dash and metal work is painted body color. When you look at the dash it looks stock with an upgraded instrument panel from Classic Industries. The steering column was changed to a tilt with the retro steering wheel. The radio is the vintage AM FM and the AC vents were added under the dash with the controls being the factory location.Finally, e will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it's neat and clean with a fresh built .30 over 283 with a roller cam. It's dressed with an Aluminum Intake and Holley Carb. The valve covers are polished aluminum with a chrome breather. Also, he AC compressor is Polished with a Chrome Power Steering Pump. The exhaust flows through stock style manifolds with dual exhaust. The trans is a 350 Turbo that's mated to a stock style rear end with 3:55 gears. The firewall is painted body color with the inner fenders done in Satin Black. This '55 has Four Wheel Power Disc Brakes and new Power Steering from CPP. When you look at the frame it's all painted black with all new body bushings and new suspension bushings front and rear.
