1965 Chevy II Nova, have owned this car since 2002 and I have built it all myself, xcept for wheel tubs. When I bought the doors, ood, inders and trunk was all fiberglass and improperly fitted. I returned everything to original steel, ot Korean. The only thing that is not OEM Steel is the hood but I was able to find an original OEM hood and I will include it with the car. I have spent years tracking down original sheet metal. I even drove thru 3 states to purchase items found online and I also attended every swap met in order to track down parts for this vehicle. No rust ever on this car. From what I can tell, t was in middle Florida, hen went to Tennessee where I purchased it. Then it went back to Florida with me where it has been in my garage since 2002 and it has never seen rain.Engine is a 2002 Cadillac Escalade LS 6.0 Motor with 54,000 miles. I followed a hot rod magazine article years ago and build the engine the exact way they did. It has LS 3 heads on it, ompetition Cam, delbrock intake, uick Fuel 950 Carburetor, arden Pushrods, new Rocker Arm, ouble Row Timing Chain, hurch Boys Headers and MSD Ignition Box to control the engine. The engine made 404 horsepower to the rear wheels at a local Dyno. It idles, tarts and drives really good.Transmission is a 700 R4 with S10 Converter. The trans was rebuilt with all upgrades made to hold up to horsepower level. Rear End is a big Dana unit, ith a 533 Gear Ladder Bar Suspension, ith adjustable shocks, ith the tires on it and the transmission it has, t is perfectly streetable. Front Suspension is a Checker Racing front clip, Rack and Pinion Steering and QA1 Shocks.Front Brakes are Aerospace Engineering Disc Brakes for street and strip, xcellent quality. Rear Brakes are also Aerospace Disc, xcellent quality. Master Cylinder also came from Aerospace. Also car has stainless steel braided lines from Aerospace. Car stops perfect!Magnaflow Exhaust, 1/2 inch dual exhausts mantel bent all stainless steel pipes with 2 resonators and 2 stainless steel mufflers. Pipes run all the way out the back. Church Boy Headers. The car sounds real nice without being obnoxious.Wiring is by Painless Wiring System. Everything works, linkers, aillights, igh beams, rake lights, orn. I wanted the car to be completely street legal. I did put a license plate on it and drove it to make sure I had gotten all the bugs out. Dash lights and high beam indicators works perfectly. Car never overheats, t could very well be a daily driver. Interior, new Dyno Mat installed through out, new carpet, eats are perfect. After market Billet Dash, ll gauges are after market. It even has a air fuel meter for tuning carburetor. Gas gauge is not hooked up because fuel cell has no sending unit. Rear tires are Mickey Thompson, 1 x 1850's with tubes to be sure no air leaks. Front tires are the standard shinnies with Wells Rims. What the car needs is a caring person who will finish it, aint it, nd enjoy it. Needs small bit of aluminum to finish boxing in the fuel cell. I have clear title in hand. As you can see, have already put a lot of money in this car and it was my dream. The only reason I am selling it is to free up much needed room in the garage for an LS swap I am doing in my truck. I reserve the right to end auction early in case I change my mind, etting it go is very hard for me. For serious inquiries, can text to you a 30 second video of the motor running. Simply send message with your phone number so I can send the video. Car is available for inspection upon request.
