Fully restored 1961 Chevrolet Impala SS. Car is a dream.I've owned it for 12 years and had it fully restored. It has been kept in an air-conditioned garage and only driven to and from car shows (where it always receives lots of interest). Everything has been replaced, efurbished, nd/or updated (the car even has working A/C).This car has been fully restored. The beautiful interior and trunk were restored by Billy Truelove of Gainesville, A. The spectacular exterior work was performed by Dwayne Dills of Dills Auto Restoration in Gainesville. The suspension and performance was handled by Robinson Racing in Cumming, A.The motor is a 327 V-8 that is smooth, owerful, nd reliable. The car has a four barrel carb with a 3 speed automatic transmission, ower steering, ower disc brakes, nd air conditioning.During restoration the cabin and trunk was insulated with "FatMat" which really helped to reduce heat and noise. The 1961 Impala SS is recognized as the first muscle car. There were only 453 built in 1961 with the Super Sport performance package which included a Grab Bar, 7000-rpm Sun Tachometer mounted on the steering column, nd SS badging!
