1979 Corvette. White/Saddle 350/Auto/T Tops. 95,000 miles. This car has been owned by the same people since 2000. 15 years. It was in their garage and rarely used. They took very good care of it. This was not a beater car. The owner liked to look at it. It was started and driven here or there. They put alot of money in the car to keep it in good running shape. This spring it was given a really good once over. In the last 6 months this is what was done to the car. New transmission $1400.00 New stainless steel brake lines $300.00 New master cylinder $120.00 New brake calipers $500.00 New brake pads $180.00 New rubber brake hoses $120.00 New shocks $160.00 New starter $200.00 New battery $80.00 New mufflers $250.00 $3,310.00 of new parts!! **The prices include the labor/installation.** Needless to say, he car runs and stops and rides exactly how it should. The car is a good 10 footer. There are chips and scratches. The paint seems to be original but peeling on the lower left fender. Near the door handle there is a crack. The interior is original and clean but a little faded. (might benefit from some spray dye) Original radio. Dash has not been cut. You never see that! Beautiful dash board. Not dry cracked or sticky. Clean factory Aluminum rims and center caps. The engine has the original dual snorkel air cleaner with the air ducts intact. Even has the 'keep your car all GM sticker'!~.The A/C does not have as belt on it but is all there- again not hacked up. Headlights do work but are very slow. There are new vacuum lines but a vacuum canister seems to be looking. Look at the body lines and gaps. Look at the door to the fender. Perfect, consistent gap. Same for the hood and headlights. That is what you get with a original body and unrepaired car. A nice car with big potential; all the big money stuff was done. If this car had old breaks and old starter and battery etc, t would still be priced in about this range. This has all new parts. Better deal. Please see my feed back. honest truthful seller.
