1970 Chevy Monte Carlo (Real Deal) SS 454 Two Door Hardtop (Great Rare Project)Original Matching Number 454 LS5, otor starts up and runs. Has a little lifter tick from sitting but over all runs ok. Still has the original prefix on the passenger side pad just bellow the head as well as the partial vin number down by the oil filter that matches the vin on the dash. I verified this information myself. I took off the after market M/T valve covers and put the Factory original Big Block Orange valve covers back on, /T valve covers are not included. Factory turbo 400 Automatic. The SS 454 still has the Factory compressor for the rear leveling system with the lines on the drivers side wheel well, he compressor is off but it is in the detailed posted pictures. The Monte Carlo also still has the self levelingproportioningvalve up above the rear end towards the passenger side and you can see this in the detailed posted pictures. Still has the12 Bolt rear end with rear sway bar and box A-arms, ower Steering, ower front disc brakes, actory A/C.Body Condition: This has a Rare and desirable paint and trim combination, actory Cortez Silver with Black Bucket Seats. A lot of the 1970 SS 454's Where Green and other dull colors. Left and Right front fenders seem to be in pretty fair shape, oth the left and right side doors seem to be in pretty fair shape. The Lower rear roof around the rear window does have some small rust holes on both sides caused by the original Vinyl Top. The Rear trunk pan looks to be in good shape, ome light surface rust and a couple very small holes. The Floors look to be in pretty fair shape, here is some light surface rust on the floors and frame, verall the complete body has some minor dents and dings, urface rust in different areas but can easily be repaired. Not in to bad of shape for a old Arizona Car.Interior Condition: The Original Black interior is in pretty worn condition that needs to be restored.
