From the light green paint to the strong running Stright 6 under the hood, his cool pickup nails the original look and feel while offering a few choice upgrades. 1966 was the last year for the Fleetside pickups introduced in 1960, hich offered lower rooflines and a swept-back cab that offered industry-leading space and comfort. this truck is a movie star. The pantina truck's original code Light Green finish, ut has a much more appealing look that's pure nostalgia. The Fleetside offered dramatic styling with lots of swoops and curves, s well as brilliant use of trim, nd all of it remains 100% intact on this hauler. Other styling details include the wing-like lip at the back of the cab, hich probably has no real function but looks really cool. Paint and body holds all of it original and bumps and brusies that it has taken on all of it life, nd this truck will be right at home both at local shows and the local lumber yard on a Saturday afternoon if you need some light hauling done. These were well-made rugged machines from new, o it shouldn't be surprising to find one this nice today. All the original trimis srtill intact, rom the massive front bumper and delicate egg crate grille to the stainless along the sides that is strongly reminiscent of the Impala SS trim from just a few years earlier. But if you need it to work, t's ready, ith a bed that's still carrying the original factory installed natural wood floor that is still strong that you're not afraid to touch it.These Trucks were awesome machines when they were new, nd this one doesn't vary much from the factory formula. The original bench was recovered in black cloth,with all original factory dash that all still works as it did when it rolled out the factory. The original gauges are a very cool setup with a single face that certainly looks great and remains in good condition. A black rubber floor mat suggests that this truck is still ready and willing to work.the factory drivetrain straight 6cyl. matched with its 3 speed on the tree manual is still nestled between the front fenders. As a truck, unction was chosen over style, nd there's no shame in that, o it still wears a stock oil bath air cleaner, t runs beautifully, nd all the accessories were freshened, ncluding the alternator, ower brake master cylinder,upgraded ignition, nd the big radiator up front. It starts easily with a great nice little rumble from the exhaust system, he only upgrade it has taken on is the addition of power brakes and power steering were added to make it easy to drive and has been used as a daily driver. The solid chassis is 100% stock and mostly original, ncluding the suspension and brakes, owered ever so slightly to give it that slight mean stance. Rolling stock consists of plain-Jane steelies wearing 15 inch blackwall radials and dishstyle hubcaps.This is a great truck that can work all day and still clean up nicely for a night out on the town. It does have some rusted areas but i have brand new parts that go with the sale of the truck. Not many like these left and very hard to come by rolling that stock set up and still wearing original faded patina paint. Still has some factory chalk writing on the firewall from the assembliy line. You can jump right in and drive it anywhere, verything still works as it should, eater box, arking brake, orn, everse lights,bright lights, right light indicador,dome light,wipers,chock,turn signal cancel,gas gauge,cold and hot lights, peedo, dded tach, il pressure, emp guage,Heater blowerfan,all still work!!I willentertain all offers.
