Up for sale we have a 1955 Chevy 210 Post. This ’55 has had a full frame off resto with many upgrades like Power Steering, ower Disc Brakes, 8 Power and a Four Speed. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, nterior, nd heartbeat of the Chevy, ut first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, perated, nd own our entire inventory, o consignments, nd only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, hat’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us for more information, ictures, r any questions call our office at (865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website.
We will start off with the exterior of the ’55. It was put on a rotisserie starting with the floors making them slicker than when new. The body panels were then slicked down to a laser straight finish. After that the panels were checked for fit and the trunk had the lock and tag bracket removed. Everything was then covered in the Tangerine Pearl with clear coat. It has been buffed and polished to smooth finish with a deep shine. The time was spent to do the jams, nside the trunk, nd under the hood to a high quality. This ’55 had new glass installed with tinted side glass that has all new seals and weather stripping. The stainless was cleaned, olished, nd what wouldn’t polish out was replaced. When you look at the chrome you will see the bumpers were replaced with one piece and the shaved bolts. The mirrors were replaced with built in turn signals. To finish off the exterior it’s sitting on a set of 18” and 20” Billet Specialties.
Next, e will take a look at the interior of the 210. On the inside it’s all done in Tan Leather with benc seats. All the metal is painted in body color. The door panels are custom as well as the headliner. When you look at the dash the instrument panel has been upgraded to a set of Dolphin Gauges. Also, t has a tilt column with a Billet Wheel that wrapped in Tan Leather. The radio is a JVC with Pioneer Speakers. The Heat and A/C is by Vintage and as you can see a panel was added under the dash for the ac control and vents. When you look in the trunk you will see it is done with Tan side panels that match the door panels and has tan carpet to match the interior.
Finally, e will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood you can see the fire wall and inner fenders are painted body color with the frame being black. The power comes from a well done 350 V8 that has a mild build. It’s mated to a 4 Speed Muncie and a 10 Bolt Rear End. The engine is dressed with an Aluminum Intake, alve covers, nd Breather. The Pulley and Alternator are chrome as well as the Master Cylinder and Booster. To keep it cool it’s fitted with an Aluminum Radiator. The exhaust flows through a Stainless Headers with duals. This ’55 has Disc brakes all the way around that are Power. The Steering is also Power. Up front it has Tubular upper and lower control arms. Out back the spring was moved in so a Larger Tire could be installed. Also, new fuel lines and tank were installed and the floors are polished to a slick finish.
