Up for sale we have a 1969 Chevy Camaro RS. This was the last year for the first generation Camaro. It was a one year only body that is one of the most loved Camaros ever built. The one we have for you is a great drive with Power Steering, ower Disc Brakes, nd Vintage Heat/AC. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, nterior, nd heartbeat of the Chevy, ut first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, perated, nd own our entire inventory, o consignments, nd only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, hat’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us for more information, ictures, r any questions call our office at (865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website.
We will start off with the exterior of the Camaro. When you walk around it you will see it has great lines with good fit of the panels. The body is straight and at the time of the resto they installed a new 2” Steel Cowl Hood. Also it has front and rear spoilers and new bumpers that were installed when the resto was done. Everything is covered in the LeMans Blue that is accented by the White Z Stripes and White Vinyl Top. The paint is slick to the touch and has a deep rich shine. All the weather stripping was replaced along with new window seals. This car has a great look and is sitting on a set of 18” and 20” Intro Wheel.
Next, e will take a look at the interior of the ’69. On the inside it’s done in white that complements the exterior scheme perfectly. The seats are houndsooth with the deluxe door panels. The cash and carpet is done in black. This Camaro has the correct console with wood grain inserts and horse shoe shifter. A JVC radio was added along with a set of under dash gauges. The heater controls were upgraded to the vintage unit to control the Heat and AC.
Finally, e will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it has a 350 Small Block. It’s dressed with Chrome Valve Covers and Breather. Also it has an Aluminum Intake and an Aluminum Radiator. You will also notice that it has the Mach Pulley System with Vintage Heat and A/C. The engine is mated to a Powerglide Trans and a 10 Bolt Rear End. The ’69 also comes with Power Steering and Power Disc Brakes. The bottom of it is rock solid with great floors and frame rails.
This is a car that is ready to drive and enjoy. The resto was done around 5 years ago, ut it still has a great look and is a great driver.
