This is a rare classic car with a reserve to protect some of its value. If the reserve is not met we will work with the high bidder to complete the sale.
Please enjoy this video: https://youtu.be/ehpD4afLx38 . And this one
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sM4FqIT45t4 of the car performing at the drag strip.
The Body on this 210 Deluxe is rust free. The current owner purchased it from the original owner in 1999. It was originally a 6-cylinder, on-the-tree car.
The body is soooo straight with a gorgeous midnight blue pearl paint job done to a show standard. It is a really stunning paint job! There are no dents or damage and it is stored in a heated garage during the long winter months.
The chrome, tainless and brite work on the car is in good-to-excellent condition. The bumpers are nice and shiny with no pitting but some areas the chrome plating is peeling. Door handles need rechroming.
Weatherstripping and rubber are in great shape and all doors, runk and hood operate as they should. The glass has all been replaced, xcept for the back glass, hich is original. However, he new (at the time of restoration) passenger-side door glass cracked just after it was installed.
Interior The LIKE NEW black interior was done in 2004 and is in excellent condition still. Everything was replaced from the headliner to the carpeting. No rips or tears. The electrical system was converted to 12 volt but the working dash gauges were not converted over to 12 volt and a new 21 circuit 12-volt wiring harness was installed. Therefore, one of the original 6-volt gauges (including the speedo) on the dash are working. The necessary aftermarket gauges under the dash work fine. The directionals, arker lights, eadlights, iper and horn all work. The original steering wheel is in good condition with minor aging.
The Drivetrain is completely rebuilt now with a Machine-shop-built Chevy small block stroker 383 (have all receipts), 50 turbo transmission with a 2,700 stall and 12-bolt POSI rearend (70 Camaro) which all have less than 1,000 miles on them. This stroker runs perfect with massive power to fry the tires yet has a nice lumpy idle for a cruise around town. Please see the video link performing at the track. It doesn't leak, moke or make any noises and doesn't overheat in city traffic.
Over $12,000 spent on the motor, rans and rearend alone.
Engine specs:
4-bolt block .030 over with all the machining that goes into building a motor, new cast crank, new cast rods, new hyper flat top pistons and all balanced. New 72cc Dart aluminum heads and all new valve train and new Comp cam (12-677-4). New Edelbrock aluminum intake and 4-barrel carb were also installed. The motor breathes out through fender-well headers into 2 1/2 dual exhaust.
The alluminum radiator is brand new. The original fuel tank was cleaned out, ashed and tested. Fuel pump is brand new with a ½" pick-up.
The Undercarriage is super clean just like the body. Floor pans and frame are original and in good condition. A couple of small patches were installed during the restoration after years of wet shoes on the carpet made a few pin holes. Owner made the repairs at that time. They were done very well, ot just a cheap patch job. Nothing major. Trunk drop-offs and trunk floor are original and are very nice. The dual exhaust system looks very good too!
The steering has been upgraded to a Mustang II manual rack steering with spindles and control arms. The braking system was also upgraded to a power brake system from a mid-90's Z/28. The chrome wheels are new as are the tires (205/75R14 & 235/70R15).
Other info:
This car has no e-brake.
Car heater box has been removed but the owner still has it and it will go with the car.
The car was repainted in 2003 and it has been driven. So there a just a few minor chips and a minor stress crack in the paint on the passenger side roof area about 1/2" long but nothing major. They applied some clearcoat paint over it to protect against moisture getting underneath the paint and it has been stable for years. The owner does have just over a quart of the original paint for touch ups.
There are no keys for the door locks but there keys for the ignition and trunk.
The inside driver-side door handle is loose. The owner is trying to find a new one.
Car comes with one set of factory keys and clear Ohio title.
