THE CAMARO ENDED UP BEING IN STORAGE FOR OVER 30 YEARS UNTIL SUMMER 2014 ONLY TO BE USED AS A FINANCIAL TOOL TO HANDLE A EXTREME PERSONAL CRISIS.  WHEN THE CAR WAS TAKEN OUT OF ITS RESTING TOMB THE MOTOR WAS PULLED AND PROFESSIONALLY REBUILT BY A LOCAL DRAG RACER WHO HAS RACED BIG BLOCK CHEVYS SINCE THE LATE 1960'S. THE BLOCK WAS BORED AND DECKED WITH A NEW STROKER ROTATING ASSEMBLY MAKING 489 CUBIC INCHES AT 11:1 COMPRESSION RATIO. SCAT 6.385 I BEAM RODS WITH MAHLE FORGED 18cc DOME VOLUME PISTONS.
