Car description

.... Ok Here is a project that is in the finish line stage.. It has been a 10 year project and a recent injury forces sale. Questions welcome.Frame Susp: Frame was stripped years ago and coated with por 15, t had some strange 1/4' steel plates welded in area's not sure what the orig use of the truck was but these were removed. The only bushings not replaced were the A arm bushings. Otherwise all steering components are new. NOS lower ball joints were used, ll tie rod ends etc were replaced with MOOG parts, forget where I got the center link atm. It still has the torsion bar front suspension with Mcgaughys 2' front drop spindle conversion. In the rear I have a late 60's 12 bolt rear end POSI with brand new richmond 3:73's. CPP tubular rear control arms and I used Cherokee springs in the rear for the drop and comfort ride. The cab mounts over all were still pretty solid, new rust through spots but the integrity was there so I did not replace them. Body: Body was completely stripped, filled in the bed side holes and as you can see in pics I filled in the rain lip on the back of the cab, ust a cleaner look. Obviously primed and painted black..Single Stage.. Pefectly straight no but very nice for a 50 year old truck. Bed liner type spray was used in the bed and wheel wells, long under all wells. Bed has stainless strips and I was going to go with a very high end wood bed, ntil then I made this bed out of pine wrapped in an alligator pleather. Obviously not great for hauling but it looks unique until I could afford the 1800$ wood I wanted. Inside the cab I used Second skin damplifier. I made my own carpet kit as I wanted a different feel than what was being sold (it was to course/rough). Engine/tranny: Late 60's 292 with a 194 head, rane rollers, ustom ground cam edel 500, ffy intake headers with brand new dual exhaust.. Runs like a top.. Backed by a 700r4 completely rebuilt. 2000 stall. Drive line balanced etc. Drivetrain has 10 miles on them. Drove the truck down to Good Guys this year about 3 miles away. Moved the gas tank to the back, t has a 60's nova tank installed with filler in the bed. Rebuilt 1970 chevy van tilt column used borg joint and late model power steering box. Custom gauges.. Custom door panels that from my understanding are no longer made. New windshield and smoked gray side glass, ll seals are new, ebuilt wing windows.. Brand new BF's well with 10 miles on them, ice smooths with baby moons.. New brake lines, new gas line.. weather stripping is all new.. List could go on.. Needs.. To be washed.. Well needs to be finished.. Has a few bumps and bruises from assembly in the paint, he pass door as seen in pics was lost in the wind before total assembly and has a small crease and paint ding. small dent on the Right rear by the tail light. The hood needs to be re shot in my opinion. It was painted and then sat for to long before a cut was attempted and its just to hard. Easier to re shoot it and be done with it. The tranny needs the lock up hooked up/installed for the TC. Needs a speedo cable and Ebrake cable installed (I have later 60's set up for it) Seat is out of a 90's chev, t has a cover but needs to be recovered as it is blue, eeds seat belts, lectric choke hooked up.. Needs to have the reverse lights hooked up, as going to do the lock up and reverse at the same time. Gas tank ground so the gauge works.. Needs a radio.. oh has the hidden latch system for the tail gate but I have not installed a tail gate link or cable. drivers door inside handle is not functioning, as going to pull the panel and check but cannot currently. The gas tank is a slow/careful fill as it has a sharp 90, t was a quick install so I could take it to at least one show. As I recently found it will need a heater core or repaired.. I looped it to get it to the show. After all the little things I was going to put it on a lift and give it a once over to make sure everything was tight.. Oh.. Currently has an elect holley fuel pump, thought I had a fuel issue and could not figure it out, ound a vac leak.. I was going to swop back to a mechanical pump just because the elect pumps are so noisy.. But that is why you do not see a mech pump in the photo's. I am sure I am missing a lot of things you would like to know, f you are serious and want a truck that will take little to finish this is a good one, ot perfect but.. The few miles I have driven it I love it.. I just need the cash. I obviously have a lot more invested in the truck and if she does not sell then I will have to store her for the future.. Again few things need to be done to clean up the dings in the paint but over all the hard work is done.. Questions welcome. 2082776302 Can be driven up onto a transport vehicle or your trailer, ill do my best to help with shipping/loaded. Thank you
