1977 Chevrolet Corvette T-Top Sport Coupe 2 Owner car with 46,883 Miles Loaded with many options and a nice presentable car Last year for the straight back window glass ANY QUESTIONS CALL (417-773-0318 OR (417)-425-9629This 1977 Corvette is finished in correct Medium Red (Code 72L) and Black Leather Interior (Code 192). Nice solid presentable car that has been repainted some time ago. The paint still shines and does look good but not perfect. I do not see any real visible chips as usually seen common around the rear fenders behind the doors. The paint all looks good in those areas. The gaps, itment of doors, ood and bumpers are as nice as they come. I have seen many with various gaps as the quality of work was not as good as today's standards. The glass is all dated coded and original and looks nice as well. The t-tops on the car fit better than any I have seen, as shown in the photos). The headlights open and close with ease and all of the lights work on the car. The front and rear bumpers are the original urethane style and have plenty of flex in them and no cracking. The corvette was originally sold new in Ohio and to the best of my knowledge has only had two owners. The mileage on the car shows 46,883 and is believed to be actual. The car does drive like a 46,000 mile car. The interior on the car is mostly all original in near excellent shape. The leather seats have no tears, he door panels have no cracking where your arms usually rest, nd the dash pad is very nice! No cracks on the dash pad at all and no cracking where the dash speaker vents are to. The gauges and instruments all look nice and fresh and the needles still have plenty of color in them, hus the car probably was not exposed to alot of sunlight. The steering wheels leather is great as well. I do believe the front carpet has been replaced but the rear carpet is still original and does match the rest of the carpet. The original leather t-top bags are still in the back storage compartment. The only non-original item in the interior is the radio and is an aftermarket am/fm cassette stereo from Sears many years ago as the original manual to the radio is still in the car. The door sill plates have been replaced as many have scratches on them from getting in and out of these cars. These 70's model corvettes are fun driving cars that don't break your pocket book. Great investment types of cars as I am seeing them continuing to increase more and more these days. The car does still have an original style spare tire and wheel and this year was the last for a full size spare tire and wheel. The engine compartment is mostly all correct in appearance with the right air cleaner, gnition shielding, alve covers, arburetor, ntake manifold, tc. I did refinish the air cleaner base and added a chrome air cleaner lid. I also replaced the valve cover gaskets and overflow plastic radiator bottle with the new warning label. The underside hood insulation is also new to. The undercarriage is decent and presentable with some of the suspension components being rebuilt. The rear trailing arms have been removed and refinished with new bushings, new rear half shalfs, new fiberglass rear leaf spring added for improved comfort when driving, new strut rods, new shocks, new power steering control valve, nd many other typical routine things that usually need replacing on these cars after years of age. The car does drive down the road nice and straight and has plenty of power for the cruiser type of car that it is. The car does have true dual exhaust as the catalytic converter has been removed. The car does sound better this way especially when at idle.Included with this car is the original window sticker, riginal warranty book from the original owner dated 8-26-77 with 49 miles at the time of delivery, he original consumer information brochure, he original passenger car maintenance brochure, riginal sales brochure, wners manual, ome registration receipts on the car from previous owner when registering, nd the original second owner title with the car. We have titled the car in our business name in the state of Missouri and the miles are on the title. In Missouri if a car is 25 years or older you can keep the previous title to the car and they simply right void on it. This just adds for better documentation to the car.FEATURES AND OPTIONS INCLUDE:L-48 350 C.I. It was the 42,624th corvette built out of 49,213 total produced. Only 4,057 were made in this color of Medium Red and only 7,269 had the FE7 Gymkhana Suspension. This being a later production 77 model the original alarm activator was moved from the driver-side fender to the driver-side door lock as this one the alarm is in the door lock. The alarm still works on this car to. 1977 was the last year for the straight back window which dated back to 1968. This was also the last year for the 160 M.P.H Speedometer with the round speedo and tachometer gauges. In 1978 the dash pad and instruments changed drastically. The passenger side map pocket was also eliminated after 1977. The sport mirrors were first introduced in 1977 along with the nice leather wrapped steering wheel. A new console held heater and air conditioning controls and accepted standard Delco radios due to its increased depth. A new steering column positioned the steering wheel two inches closer to the instrument panel to provide more of an "arms out" driving position, nd easier entry and exit. Speed Control (Cruise Control) was first introduced in 1977 but was only available with an automatic transmission. Leather seats became standard equipment and all interiors were the deluxe style with carpet and trim on the door panels as previous models this was an option. In my opinion this was the last year for the better looking door panels as in 1978 they seemed to cheapen them. Flint engine assembly changed from orange paint to blue on Corvette engines. The headlight dimmer and windshield wiper/washer controls were located on steering column stalks. Sunshades were redesigned to permit swinging to the side windows. The interior rearview mirror mounting point was relocated from above the windshield to the windshield itself. The trim around the front windshield was switched to "non glare" in 1977. Multiple changes to effect in 1977 but for the better making it one of the most sought after 70's model era Corvettes. If you are in the market for a nice clean 1977 model than look no further.
