Car description |

This is my 1970 Chevrolet Impala Custom Coupe. It is a SCREAMER. I have taken this car with my Dad on some cruises and quite a few shows this summer around the city where I live. It turns heads everywhere you go.Pros:Brand new 350 engine with many "go-fast" parts(has 1000 miles on the drivetrain)Rebuilt turbo 400 transmissionRebuilt rear end with Posi-track differential.Brand new dual exhaust with MagnaflowBrand new tiresNew vinyl topBrand new suspensionOriginal interior in good shape(needs some front seat work and a carpet kit-that's it)Kenwood Cd Player mounted under dash-the original radio and dash is un-touched and perfect.I have the paperwork for the engine and work done and that is included with the sale. This is a turn-key car and is ready to go anywhere. Yes,you can drive across the country with it. Everything is brand new.You can also take this shows. It barely needs anything and it is cosmetic. The engine bay is SPOTLESS.Cons.It has some slight damage to the right front fender which should be easily fixableIt needs the front lower bumper valance replaced(I have a full front bumper set-up with everything you need(lenses, grille piece,valance,bumper,brackets...all of it that goes with the car..I will have to dismantle it to fit in the trunk)Rear bumper has some slight dings in itThe paint still shows well but it has some chips in it. I do have the color/paint code for it though and all of that is included with the sale. The trunk has a light scale in it on the bottom. It needs a carpet kit and some minor upholstery work. The left rear window needs to be put back on the track. 2 small rust spots on the right front fender I took a picture of.I had it listed a few times before but I didn't think my pictures were that good. I feel these represent the car better and you can see the condition. It runs and drives great with no issues. Like I mentioned before, the motor has 1000 miles on it. Turn key, enjoy,go to car shows or just have something cool to take further than it is already.Oh,I forgot to mention,I do have the original steel wheels and the original hubcaps as well. If you would like those, feel free to let me know. :)On Aug-23-15 at 20:19:17 PDT, eller added the following information:
I also have the original steering wheel and extra NOS tail lights lenses in the old GM/Delco box. They are new old stock and have never been on a car. I think that covers everything. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.The reason I am selling is that after 18 years,I finally found a '72 Imperial saved from demolition derby which I want to restore. I hate to see my Impala just sitting there when I know someone will enjoy it. The winning bidder will have a good, reliable car that should last for many years to come. :)
