The car retains almost all of its original chrome and stainless in amazing condition for being 57 years old with great shine and way above average which speaks for the care of the car. A few years ago the car was repainted in correct (code 900) onyx black and has held up nicely. Bel Air seat covers, new carpet, new door panels and a beautifully repainted to perfection red dash and very nice clear crisp gauges. Complementing the Bel Air's front design was a broad grill and quad headlights that were similar to the higher priced Cadillacs. The dual tail lights were complemented by the fan-shaped alcove which housed the tail lights. The third generation Chevrolet Bel Air models were redesigned longer, ower, nd heavier than their 1957 body style and was the first year of the big block 348 wedge 5.7 liter V8. This Iconic classic is assisted by power drum brakes and power steering for your driving pleasure. The Chevrolet was the number one make of automobile (beating Ford, hich held the title in 1957) and the Bel Air was one if the main reasons for Chevrolet's popularity. Bel Air's could be loaded with power and comfort options. The Bel Air featured Chevrolet's new ''Safety-Girder'' cruciform frame. Similar to the 1957 Cadillac. It featured box-section side rails and a boxed front cross member. This beautiful Bel Air is rolling on correct steel wheels and hub caps rolling on a newer set of wide whites. Our #1 Goal at American Dream Machines is to make our customers happy with the cars we sell.
