Car description

This is a NO-RESERVE- auction, high bidder owns the car. 1957 Chevy 210 4 door sedan driver quality project car, hat has had a lot of work done to it and a lot of new parts installed. Yes it does have some rust and some dents. If you want a show car or a perfect car, his is not it. If you want a car to drive as you finish it, o suit you, nd have some fun with, hen read on! I purchased this as a non-running car that hadn't ran for 20 years. I replaced the original, 35bad engine with a good used, 962 235 truckengine. The trans is the original 57 chevy 3 speed manual, on-syncro. The rear end is original 57 rear axle, ut I changed the center gear pumpkin, o a 3:36 ratio, t was originally a 4:11 Then I spent a lot of money and time, epairing most of its problems. This is the list of new parts used. New 15" 5 spoke mags and new tires, new split manifold headers, nd new dual exhaust, new brass copper radiator, new aluminum heater core, new battery, new battery tray, new clutc, ressure plate and throw out bearing, new upper and lower control arm bushings, new 2" dropped spindles, ith disc brakes, nd power brake booster, new rear brake shoes and wheel cylinders, new brake and fuel lines, new fuel tank, new sending unit, arb is rebuilt, new fuel pump, new water pump, new HEI distributor, new plugs, new wires, new air cleaner, new add on vacuum storage tank, new Offenhauser valve cover, new chrome side cover, new drive shaft u-joints, new thermostat, ll new hose's, dd on remote oil filter, ith cover and new hoses, onverted to 12 volt alternator, lso new, new rubber brake hoses, new gas pedal, new 2 piece, omplete floor pan replacement panel, new floor braces, hat were needed, new carpet, new headliner, ront and rear seats new upholstery, new floor mats, new toe board, new park lamp and tail lamp lenses new front bumper rubber bullets, " lowering blocks in rear, new tinted windshield, ith new rubber seal, new rear window seal, new tach, new turn signal steering column, ebuild kit, new kick panels, new door step seal plates, new trans and pinion seals, nd many more smaller new items. The body is as I found it, reat patina, like it that way, some peopledon't, the floor pans, put in new as noted, piece, omplete floor pans new. This car runs good and is dependable, ut don't expect it to run and drive like your new car, t won't, ts basically a stock 57 chevy 6 cylinderdrive train, nd it runs like they did in 1957, ot all that fast, ut runs 60-65 mph pretty well and easy to work on. The things I know it would need to make it a better car, s this: Inner and outer rocker panels, ave some rust, till decent, ut to be nice, ould need to be replaced. Needs new windows in some of the doors, ome have cracks, lso needs new door glass seals and door weather strips, ll available on e-bay, nd not terribly expensive. The trunk lid has some rust near the rear glass, ill need repaired and a new trunk seal. Also panel below trunk lid has rust as they all did, ue to the rubber seal between bumper and panel, olding moisture. Over all its a real good old car, ar from perfect, ut if you had to do it yourself, t would take a lot of work to get one this far along. Your not buying someones barn find that still needs all this work done and new parts to do it, our buying a running driving car, ith all the hard work done. Go to your local shop and ask what it would cost to get a car, o this state, t wont be cheap. Again its a driver, ot a car show queen. Also Idon't want to sell it, o anyone, hat cant come andsee it in person or at least talk to me on the phone, dont want to sell to someone and then they feel like they were cheated, hat seems to be going around a lot these days.Too many non car guys watching those t.v. shows where 20 people work on one car, ith unlimited tools, ponsors free parts, nd a rich guy, illing to pay for all this, ith enough money to pay for all that talent and process to be done, lus it happens in 1 hour, o do this at home by yourself is very time consuming. I know I don't stand a chance of gettin, ll my labor back, on't expect to, ust want to get the parts cos, nd at least a little labor back, o put in my next project.Everyones ideal of whats good is different, ou can send someone to look at it for you, r if there is no other way and you want it, all and we can talk.We can probably work something out. Also, 've had to many bad experiences, ith shippers and haulers, oing damage to the vehicle, efore it gets delivered, hen you shop for the best shipping cost, ou usually get a company with transports, auling all types of cars, rivers that don't care, nd in some case's, he car has to be dropped off, omewhere, nd is left there, ill the next truck picks it up. Who knows what could happen to i, t any given point. I wont do that again, f you want to, am not responsible for it when it leaves my location. I've soldand purchased on ebay for many years, heck out my feedback.Sold as is, o warranty . Questions? 1-6-six-zero-34-six-86-seven-one, nbsp;on tue-wed-thur- please call after 5 p.m central standard time, ny other day its fine to call me anytime, lease, o late calls. Thanks!
