I am selling this beautiful car from my dad's classic car collection. He was a life long car collector and he was also a Technical Advisor with the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America (VCCA).The car was manufactured in the Los Angeles/Van Nuys, A GM plant and delivered to the Brown & Hoeye Chevrolet Dealership in Mesa, Z. The car was originally sold new at the dealership on November 25, 965. The car was eventually brought to Minnesota as a collector car and has always been stored during the Minnesota winters. The car was in unrestored, ut excellent condition at the time my dad bought it with 100k miles on it, nd it was obvious that the car had been well cared for since it was new. It was originally Ermine White, he color from the factory, nd ran well, as straight, nd rust free. There is a photo of it when he bought it, ith 100k miles on it, n unrestored condition, ith the photos. Now with much of the restoration work done it's a stunningly beautiful car and gets a lot of attention everywhere it goes. It has been re-painted the Madeira Maroon original factory color. The new paint has a mirror finish and the jams and inside of the trunk were also painted. The car also comes with fender skirts, ot currently on the car (see photos). The car is solid and straight with a finish like a mirror. It has obviously been well maintained and never been exposed to harsh winters. The body is laser straight with great lines and good fit of the panels. All of the metal is original to the car. When you look at the glass and chrome it all looks good, ith only a few barely noticeable imperfections in a few spots on the chrome. The car has a stock engine compartment, new tires with Caprice hub caps (although not the original wire wheel covers that came with the car from the factory), nd a beautiful interior. The interior is done in black with the wood grain trim. It has the bucket seats and center console, factory option for the sport coupe package. The bucket seats are covered in vinyl along with the rear seat and door panels, ll in excellent condition. The driver's door has a small mark in the carpet along the bottom of the interior of the door, bout 1" long and 1/2" wide. It's not very noticeable (see photo of the driver's door interior), ut it's there.I don't know if the carpet and headliner in the car are original or if my dad had them replaced, haven't found receipts for those, ut they are both in such perfect condition they may have been replaced as they are in like-new condition. There is a working AM/FM push button radio, rear seat speaker and the factory option rear antenna. It looks like a new speaker may have been installed through the trunk, ased on how new the speaker and wires look from the trunk. I am not sure if the AM/FM radio is original to the car (see photo). There is a Caprice AM radio in the trunk. I don't know if the original radio was replaced at one time, nd my dad had this '66 Caprice AM radio in the trunk with plans to have it repaired and installed, r if this AM radio in the trunk is just part of his classic car parts collection. But I can include the extra radio when the car is sold in case it's the radio that should be with the car.The car may also be missing hooks on the interior of the car that were used for hanging hangers, tc. There are very small holes on each side of the car in the headliner that appear to be in the area where those kinds of hooks are usually found. The console is the factory style with the T handle floor shift as well as a set of factory gauges. The dash is in overall very good condition, ut has not yet been restored and shows normal wear and tear of a car with 102k miles. There are two small cracks in the vinyl on the top of the dash at the corners of the speaker (see photos), eneral wear and paint rubbed off on the steering column, nd other small areas on the dash, s well as some areas around the door arm rests and door handles. The car has many factory upgrades, ncluding Air Conditioning, elescoping and Tilt Steering Wheel, ower Windows, nd a Power Driver's Seat.We have the original window sticker for the car, isting all of the factory upgrades (see photo, nd listed here, s they were listed on the window sticker):VACUUM POWER BRAKEBLACK VINYL TRMTURBO HYDRA-MATICTINTED GLASSSIMU WIRE WHEEL CVDELUXE FR&RR BELTSREAR SEAT SPEAKERASTRO BUCKET SEATREAR ANTENNAERMINE WHITETILT TEL STRG WHLPOWER SEAT FOUR WAYPUSH BUTTON RADIOPOWER WINDOWS825X14X2 PLY WSWVINYL ROOF CV BLACK4 SEASON AIR CONDPOWER STEERING325 HP V8 TURBOJETUnder the hood the car has the matching numbers 396 big block with the stock breather and valve covers. The car seems to have no mechanical problems whatsoever - it runs beautifully. When you look under the car the floors are solid and don't have any visible signs of damage, nd the frame is solid. The interior of the trunk appears to have been partially painted at one time beneath the factory trunk mat, ut the trunk floor seems solid. If there is any additional information about the car you need, r notice any pertinent information I've left out, r if there are any additional photos of the car you would like, lease contact me.Below is a video with a brief tour of the interior and exterior of the car, hen shows the car starting up and driving away, nd then driving toward the camera and returning. (The small mark you see in the video on the passenger side front fender isn't a chip in the paint - it was a bug walking on the car.)
