1966 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Big Block 396 4spd Barn find Project Car

1966 Chevelle SS Convertible 396, spd barn find for sale. This great project car has been in dry storage since 1977. The car retains most of the Factory(Lemonwood Yellow) paint as well as the factory black top and interior. In 1977it did have a minor collisionon the right front of the car(exterior bumper and right front fender). As you can see all of the front end exteriorsheet metal has been replaced this aftermarket parts. The frame has been measured and is straight and true( no rust). Thisis anumbers matching carwith regards to the4 speed M21 Transmission, nd 12 bolt 3.73 posi rear end. The 396 Big Blockthat is currently in theChevelle is from 1966 But it is NOT CORRECT FOR THE CAR code EKH.65,000 is the current mileage on the odometer as well ason the Clear Pa title. The exterior of theSS needs full restoration. It does still retain the factory rear quarter which you can view in the pictures. There is some rust on the driverside lower quarter aswell as the truck floor and drivers side rear body mount. There are a few patch panels that go with the car for some of the problem areas that I have pictured.The rockers are in Great shape and could be spared. Most of the exterior trim is original to the car. One emblem and the grill are aftermarket.Interior still has the factory bucket seats, ear seats andcenter console.In 1966 This car came with a few options thatare still on the car today. Factory Power windows, owerTop, ilt Colum, ith Two spoke wheel, M/FM radio,Factory Head rests,and Day and night Mirror. The car as youcan see also has all of the High Horsepower Pulleys, ower steering and brackets which leads me to believe that the original 396 was a 360 horsepower engine it also still has the original intake and dual feed full pump. The distributor that is currently in theblock is out ofa high horse 1968Big Block. We don't really have any info on the current engine that is in the Chevelle, It currentlydoes not run and all of the valves are in a box in the trunk of the car.
