Original un-restored survivor, ith 90.000 original miles on body & chassis. Same owner for 40 years car had 48,000 original miles when purchased in California in 1975.
It was driven to Texas and has remained in state up to present time.
Original 283 Power Pack Engine was recently refreshed and upgraded for unleaded fuel. All work professionallyperformedduring July 2015.
Has dual exhaust with factory type quite tone mufflers.
Has been fitted with bolt on front sway bar assembly for improved stability and safety.
Vehicle can be driven anywhere you want to go riding smooth and quite.
Unique overdrive transmission works perfectly with passing gear available at any highway speed above 25 MPH.
Final drive ratio is 2.88 in overdrive for lower engine revs and fuel economy.
Factory 4.11 limited slip differential works perfectly but has a slightwinning noise at 45-50 MPH ( A brand new (still in box) ring & pinnion set is being provided with the car just in case).
Delux heater/defroster works very well.
Optional Motorola Transistor push buttonAM radio made for 57 Chevrolets installed and works very well.
Car is equipped with electric wipers.
Interior has had partial repairs to seat covers and upper door cloth using (Original 1957 Chevrolet Factory) materials only.
Car still has the original 12V generator and regulator charging systemand it works very well.
