1985 Chevrolet SS Monte Carlo

Purchased the car from Bob Howard Chevrolet in Edmond, k. in 1995. At the time of purchase I was the 5th owner of the car. I have owned the car for the last 20 years. When we purchased the car it had 61,934 miles. The car now has 74,504 miles. It has not been tagged since 2001. Wenever drove the car very much. We do start the car quite often.

As far as we know the caris all original.There is an aftermarket stereo installed in the car. When we purchased the car there was aradioin the trunk and believe it to be the original, ut not for sure. It is a AM/FM Cassette player. It also had new dual exhaust, ufflers, nd catalytic converter on when we purchased it which is still in good condition.

Overall for a 30 year old car (Antique) the car is in good solid decent condition. It does have a few scratches, ings and dents, ut they are minor. There is one spot of rust over the drivers side rear window. Please see pictures.

The interior is in good condition. The seats haveno tears or rips. The headliner does not sag. But all is somewhat faded. The top of the console cover needs to be repaired or replaced and there is a few cracks in the dash. See pictures.

The motor starts and runs, ut it does smoke some. The transmission works and shifts good. The transmission is a 3 speed with overdrive.

All glass is good. No cracks.

Tires hold air, ut have weather cracks. Original tires that were on it when we purchased it.

The rubbermolding on bumperon car (holding in picture) just needs to be replaced.

Car has original jack and spare.

When we purchased the car the original striping was not on it. We bought the car as you see it in the pictures.

AC needs to be recharged.

In 2003 we had a car fax done on the car and found out it was as the dealer had told us. In 2003 the only repairs I had done on the car was the replacement of AC compressor and filter, lushed out the radiator and put new GM hoses on. Replaced water pump and antifreeze. We had the alternator changed out. There has been a complete new brake job front and rear. All of these repairs were made at the Dealership we purchased the car from.

The car has been stored in a carport with a cover on it. This car just needs some TLC and would be an excellent candidate for someone who likes very popular SS's.

When theauction has been completed, 300.00 will need to be deposited into PayPal within 48 hrs to hold the car. The balance will need to be paid in cash at the time of pickup of the car within 7days of close of auction. Or contact me before the auction closes to make other arrangements to pick up car.
