Frame off restoration, gorgeous truck, dult driven, nd garage kept. No disappointments!
Up for auction is a truly amazing one of a kind custom 1986 Chevrolet C10 show truck.
The pictures do not do this truck justice. Must see in person. These older square body trucks are getting increasingly more difficult to find in this solid condition. Don't miss out on this one of a kind Chevy C10 pickup.
Rare originally Canadian built truck.
Vin # 2GCEC14H0G1161482.
The exterior of the truck is in beautiful overall condition. This truck has absolutely no rust, o rot and it retains all of its original sheet metal. It's obvious this truck was well preserved over the years and stored indoors. The Cherry Red Pearl Coat paint with blue stripes is deep and shines like a new penny!
The truck still retains its original stamping from the factory on the frame, hich is visible under the truck. You just don't find that on trucks of this vintage!
The interior, xterior, ngine compartment and bed of the truck are in beautiful condition. When sitting in the truck it is extremely comfortable and still feels and looks like a new truck. The bed floor is completely solid, ainted and in great condition. This is truly an awesome, ne of a kind custom C10 pickup truck. *Absolutely no rust or rot whatsoever. All the sheet metal is original. This truck was originally a southern Florida truck and was very well preserved thru its life.
The truck has a more desirable 1989 K15 Suburban grill, ose, umper and headlight assembly.
I purchased this truck as a project vehicle. The truck had a frame off restoration and paint job prior to my purchase, owever needed other work at the time. My father and I restore classic vehicles as hobby and took on this truck as a project. According to the truck specs, he truck originally had a 305 V8 SBC Small block Chevy motor and 3 speed automatic transmission whenit was new from the factory.
At some point in time the original 305 V8 and 3 speed were removed and someone installed a V6. When I purchased the truck the v6 motor and automatic transmission were in need of replacement. We decided to upgrade the truck to a more powerful SBC Small Block Chevy V8 and a sought after 5-speed manual transmission.
When I purchased the truck the interior was also in need of an upgrade. The seats, arpet, ustom console, ower door speaker panels, hifter, achometer, auge cluster, tereo and dash pad cover were all replaced.
It currently has a bed mat, railer hitch and trailer wiring harness.
The headliner, eat belts and upper interior door panels are original. The truck has extremely smooth body lines, he door handles, take pockets, nd drip rails were shaved and professionally patched at the time of the frame off restoration. The truck has electric door poppers with keyless remote entry.
Great working factory power locks and power windows.
Deep tinted windows all around. The truck has a reliable and powerful rebuilt 1964 Chevy 283 V8 SBC Small Block Chevy engine with only 3,000 miles since rebuild. The engine is bored .60 over, as a mild cam, nd is complimented with a well matched 650 CFM four barrel Holley carburetor.
The truck has a smooth shifting, xcellent 1991 Chevrolet GM NV1500 5-speed manual transmission. The truck was originally a three speed automatic transmission. We converted the truck to a desirable 5-speed manual with a brand new clutch, lywheel, lutch master cylinder, nd pedal assembly.
There are 82k miles overall on truck, owever the speedometer is not currently hooked up due to the more modern transmission. The truck also has factory A/C, owever it is currently not hooked up, ut could be if the new owner desired it.
Truck was a frame off restoration; professionally skim coated, repped and painted. The rear wheel wells weretubbed during the restoration to accommodate large rear wheels.
The rear end has 3:73 highway gears. The rear end gear oil has been recently changed; the gears were visually inspected and are in great condition. The rear end has a custom chrome cover. The front brake pads and rear wheel cylinders were also recently replaced.
The truck has headers with glass pack mufflers and a full exhaust. The truck sounds aggressive coming down the road.
The steering column, ront grill shroud, nd brake master cylinder/booster were painted.
The truck has a custom fiberglass hood with 2" scoop, nd an excellent fiberglass heavy duty solid toneau cover with struts. The tailgate handle was relocated to the inside of the tailgate.
No leaks. The truck is as straight as a nail.
This truck runs, rives, hifts, tops and sounds excellent!
It is truly a solid dependable hot rod C10 show truck! The following are all new components we installed: New clutch, lywheel, lutch master cylinder, edal assembly, ewly rebuilt 283 V8, eaders, EI, park plugs, ompletion wire set, ire looms, alve covers, ir cleaner, lass pack mufflers, xhaust pipes, nner fenders, ront brake pads, ear brake cylinders, attery, xterior mirrors, hrome fender well trim, nterior door pull straps, tainless steel exhaust tips, urn signal wiper lever, ll new dash bulbs, hrome alternator, an shroud, M/FM stereo, ash pad, achometer, auge cluster, eats, arpet, ustom console with storage / cup holders, indshield, eyless entry system, taggered setup 17"x8" REV brand (Torq Thrust style) wheels in front with Kuhmo P235/65R17 tires, 7"x9" REV (Torq Thrust style) wheels in rear with Kuhmo P255/60R17, nd wheel locks.

A true head turner with plenty of muscle!
