Up for auction is a unique and interesting vehicle, n 89 Chevy Blazer full size. This vehicle is great for hunting or enjoying the great outdoors. This truck has a 6 inch lift with monster tires that will get you through the snow, ud, r high water with ease. It has dual exhaust with glass packs that are rather loud. A set of quite mufflers can be added if you so choose. The camo pattern is roughly based on the older military m1009 and m1008 Chevy trucks and was painted using a military grade paint not the cheap stuff at the local store. This paint holds up rather well. A few things were changed one of them being the doors. I got a set of rust free doors off an 87 truck with manual windows and locks. The motors were burnt out on the originals so I put in a more user friendly version. I gutted the interior and opted for a clean military look with a few added touches. The front seats are in good condition but they look better with camo seat covers from Real Tree. The floor is solid for the most part as I only had to patch the back corners with sheet metal. One of the pictures show how the floor looked with everything out. The floor is half rubberized under coating with military paint as well as the dash. You get a .50 cal ammo can as a center council and polished diamond plate to accent the floor. The plate is removable for washing or polishing. The gages under the dash aren't connected but could be, never got around to it. The ones on the dash work however. I took out the back seat and put in a ammo and supplies storage box. Perfect for storing items when you take this hunting. It too is removable and I have the back seat that you could put back in if you want. I left the floor the original color and the new owner could opt to paint it, ut bed liner in, r a mat. There is some rust in the rear of the bed and can be fixed easily with available after market parts. LMC truck has all the stuff you need if you choose to fix it. The tail gate. The window motor is shot on it so I had to crank it down with a pair of pliers turning the cable to the window mechanism. Well the glass came off the track so I took it out and left it out. You can put the glass back in and crank the window up and leave it, specially in cold weather. One other option is to take plexiglass and make a hinge mounted window out of it and have it lock to the tailgate. Just a suggestion. I have the metal plate that covers the inside of the tailgate.
Other work that has been done to it is wheel seal on R rear axle, new brake shoes in back, new shocks all around, ront stabilizer shock, new starter, iring repaired in back for brake lights. The heater core was serviced 2 winters ago. All lights work as well as turn signals. 4x4 works well, o noises. It has a 700R4 trans that works good too. The previous owner had a 350 crate engine installed in it and has about 35,000 on it. It runs good and always starts even in the coldest winters here. It has electronic fuel injection as it has a 3 barrel carb that sprays fuel into the intake. If someone wanted to convert it to a regular carb it's easy to do as the block is set up for a mechanical fuel pump, he block off plate is there. In tank fuel pump is good. Overall it's a good running truck to drive and charge through snow or mud with and it gets lots of looks where ever it goes.
This is a no reserve auction and the starting price is $1950 and I have a clear title to it. I would like cash or a cashiers check from a certified US bank for payment. I can hold the truck for as long as you need to pick it up but I need to be paid within 7 days from the end of the auction. Non paying bidders will be reported to ebay. Lastly, here may have been something I might have forgotten so if anyone has any questions please ask BEFORE the auction ends. Vehicle being sold as is no warranty expressed or implied. Thanks for looking, ood luck.
