Car description

Upfor bid is my 1963 Chevrolet Nova Super Sport Convertible. This car is in very good condition. It is rock solid and has never been patched. It is all original metal 99.9% Rust free. There is one small spot on the left rear wheel well lip that I have pictured. The car has its original number matching engine, ransmissio, ear end and even the original number matching key as well as original paperwork. This car was sold new in Sidney Ohio and has been in this town its entire pamperedlife. I believe I`m the fourth owner. The car runs great, ith the exception of being a little cold blooded at times. It has power steering that is effortless to operate. The brakes are four wheel drum brakes that work exactly as they are suppose to. Now, ith that said, ts not like stopping a new car. It may not stop on a dime but it will stop on a quarter and give you a nickel back.It drives like a dream and I would drive it anywhere. It is very easy on gas so you can drive it all the time and not break the bank like most muscle cars. It has a new battery this year and a fresh oil change and tune up.All gauges, ignals, ipers, nd lights work properly. Even the glove box light still works. The radio works I believe but just picks up static so I never really mess with it. The interior is very nice for the year, eat, arpe, c, are original and show minor wear (patina).I believe the super sport option was the only way to get the bucket seats and the auto on the floor with a console. All windows roll up and down smoothly and the top is manual that goes up and down easily. The top is in good shape with the exception of the back window stitching is starting to come apart on the corner. I always have to top down, o it was never a big deal but honestly, he car is to nice not to get that repaired. The body is all original as stated before. No patches or replacement panels and no apparent bondo. The car was painted over twenty years ago and im sure if there was bondo it would have come out by now. The paint is good but not great. It is not a hardcore show car, ut most hardcore show cars have not been left alone like this car either. It will fetch local car show / cruise in trophies commonly if asked to do so. The car stands tall, nd chances are you will never pull into a show with another `63 SS convertible and if there is I bet it wont have the original engine! This car has been used many times in tech articles in Cars and Parts magazine over the years.

Basically, t says it was built the third week of September 1962, 00 L6 2 door convertible built at the WillowRun Plant, onico Blue with blue vinyl buckets, owerglide transmission and last but certainly not least is the SUPER SPORT option.

This is a rare opportunity to get an unmolested Nova SS convertible. These cars seldom come up for sale with their original drive train. Most people ripped them out in favor of a small block.
