Car description |

For sale isour much loved 1972 Stingray Roadster. This car is very custom, here is so much to list I'm sure I will forget some things so feel free to ask.
This car started life as a white T-topCorvette. Somewhere along the line someone made her into a roadster and painted her black with flames. Judging by the technique used on the flames I would assume in the late 70's to early 80's. When my wife and I found the car, he body was complete with paintand little to no interior and no power train.
The brake system has been completely replaced (except hard lines) and stops on a dime. The transmission is a B&M Hole Shot turbo 350. The engine is a 383 Storker (modified 350 4bolt main) punch .60 over with Skat Crank TRW race Rod's and Pistons. Heads are Edelbrock Aluminum with .202 valves ported and polished to top it.Full roller Edelbrock Cam and Lifters and Edelbrock Gear Drive. Edelbrock intake and Holley 600 CFM carb. I almost forgot the Holley Nitros Oxide set up100 shot and high torque starter. The belt system is a March Underdrive set up with A/C compressor (I don't have the A/C hooked up). The Radiator is a custom built aluminum set up with built in fans to keep the engine cool. Shocks are new and wheels are American Racing with Bridgestone Potenza 225/45/17 in front and 265/35/18 in the rear. Headers are Hooker Dual Exhaust is custom with Magnaflow Mufflers and tips. The inside is also a bit custom as you can see in the pictures. Corbeau seats, ustom center console, rant Steering wheel.
This car is very fast and very, ery fun to drive. She never lets us down and doesn't leak any fluids. We have put less than 5,000 miles on the engine and transmission since the install. She looks as good in person as she does in the pictures how ever she is 43 years old and does show some wear. Afew minor fiberglass cracks here and there, ome missing trim and markers, oor panels could use replaced, drivers exterior handle doesn't work and needs sill plates (between the rockers and doors). Mostly easy stuff for the new owner.
We love this car so much that we even had her made into a cake for our wedding and used her for custom wine bottle labels at our wedding. But 3 kids later she doesn't get used and it's time for someone else to love her as much as we do.
Please ask questions before bidding I want to give full disclosure and want you to know exactly what you are getting.
